Exceptional hotel. Feels like traveling back to the 80s!
Pros:

Location, looks, feel... everything!!! This is an amazing hotel with the 80s feel despite the fact that it's entirely renovated and very very clean, not run off or having any feel of oldish...but the look is preserved and it's just super original and cute! Excellent job!!!

Fue una pena como nos trató la chica que estába de noche
Cons:

Estaban en fiestas en el pueblo y cerraron la recepción y nos tuvieron más de 45 min esperando en la puerta sin poder entrar en el hotel hasta que un huésped nos abrió. Ya en la habitación oímos que estaba alguien llama va igual que nosotros y fui yo quien bajó a socorrerle.

The location is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful.
Good water pressure and lots of hot water

Cons:

The hotel has seen better days however and is in need of renovation. It feels like one is back in the 1980's.
Breakfast was very basic - fresh milk came in small cartons with straws

A localização no interior da vila fortaleza de Almeida. A tranquilidade do lugar. O quarto e a varanda eram espaçosos.

Cons:

O hotel poderia modernizar alguns aspetos do alojamento. Aceita-se num contexto mais rústico de uma vila do interior.

Big room with great view over the wall.

Cons:

The property is good, confortable, but the town Almeida is un the middle of nowhere and you have to travel 15 to 20 minutes to find a restaurant or a supermarket.
