Lovely old building with tasteful interiors, we stayed in Cuckoo, super comfy bed, Molton Brown toiletries. Great outside area, a well kept garden with plenty of seating. Lucky enough to have a warm evening so ate al fresco, and it was Thursday ‘steak night’, highly recommend, perfectly cooked chateaubriand & tasty peppercorn sauce.
Staff are friendly & efficient. Also very dog friendly, even an extra sausage at breakfast for them.
Nothing
Very luxurious. Great location great rooms
Rates are a little high but what you would expect from a hotel of this quality
The property itself was stunning, our room was beautiful. The cleaning staff were very helpful and kind. Our room was spotless. The staff member on reception as we was leaving was very jolly, professional and a delight from the other staff member.
The bed was uncomfortable it dipped in the middle so we had a poor nights sleep. Also I asked for a bottle of wine to be left in our room upon arrival. I submitted the request through booking.com they had nothing to say I had requested this. The staff member that greeted us and showed us to our room was, rushing about. Not helpful, i understand he could have been rushed off his feet and busy, I found him to be not very personable.
Beautiful building and location in Tetbury on the high street.
Lovely gardens and outdoor dining area.
Spacious room (we were upgraded to a superior room with a garden view) and it was lovely. Great amenities in the room and a very comfy bed.
Great food.
Lovely staff at reception and dinner. So friendly and helpful with an upgrade and local recommendations.
Didn’t feel great value for money for a DBB package given the hotel has limited amenities and on-site drink / food prices outside the package are high. But we were surprised with an upgrade at check in which was lovely.
Location , comfy bed
Nothing stood out
The Room was lovely and nice to have a good fan. And everything you need. The cakes in the room were a good touch.
Breakfast was nice. But service was poor asked for brown toast and brown sauce but both never turned up . No reason or excuses for it the lady never came back again so went back to our room and left.
Beautiful property with a lovely garden. Lovely restaurant and the food is just amazing. Expensive but excellent quality. Decor in the main hotel is stunning.
Our room was tiny and for the price, I would have expected better facilities - not even a mini fridge. The decor in our room felt tired and in need of an upgrade.
The hotel owner needs to take some of his vast profits and spend some money on the rooms, or else they should make the nightly room fee more reasonable.
The hotel is right in the middle of the town centre.
Our room overlooked the garden and was quiet.
There was a good choice on the lunch and breakfast menus.
The staff were very friendly and efficient.
The car park was a too small.
Excellent location, atmosphere, food and service.
The staff, the bed, the shower, the food ...and the location.
It would have been nice if breakfast went past 9.30am (given it's not a business hotel). My friend also had someone else's bill charged to her credit card.
