Easy to check in and store bags
A bit further from city center than i thought, very cramped
The location of the hotel was very convenient. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were kind and welcoming.

quiet for being on a main street
the pillows were too big and hard. smaller and more variety would have been nice. could not set the room thermostat below 20 deg C. Elevator did not go to basement floor where our room was.
There’s no door of the shower, water easily splashed over the floor.
Great location, lovely clean room. Although the room was small, can’t complain as we weren’t in it much and the bed was comfy. Bedding smelled great.
Coffee machine, tea tray, fridge, safe.. all nice touches.
Basement room but we had a lovely small terrace outside out (climbable window) with water feature and bamboo planting (table and chairs also)…which was our view.
The shower tray overflowed into the small bathroom floor and the extractor didn’t seem to work.
The mattress would benefit from a fitted sheet but that’s all the negatives I am going to say. We had a lovely few days away and it was what we were after.
Those ‘Amsterdam stairs’ though!

The stairs ,
Koffieapparaat met twee cups, waterkoker en thee aanwezig. Handdoeken,zeep,shampoo,fohn en TV op kamer.
Via het raam heb je ook een klein terras.
We zaten op 6 min wandelen van de Melkweg waar we naar een concert waren geweest. 20 min wandelen van het rijksmuseum .
Rustig, geen last gehad van straatlawaai.
We konden het horen als de buren hun toilet doorspoelden.
De locatie van het hotel was goed. Het hotel ligt centraal en is goed bereikbaar.
Ik vond de hygiëne niet goed. Ook waren mijn handdoeken kapot.
The location was amazing and the room was updated it wasn’t old and it was clean. The location is also very good you are like 5min away from a tram line ( which can get you almost anywhere) and you’re also 10min away from Vondelpark which is an amazing walk and a bus stops there that takes you to most museums. The location truly is amazing and very convenient and it’s very quiet so you can rest. The room was very nicely cleaned and the hotel itself is clean and very very cozy.
The fridge DOES NOT WORK we complained one day ( they forgot ) we then went another day to ask and they said we’ll bring another one. They did and that one didn’t work either ( at that point we gave up ) there was also a problem with the window that goes out to the patio for another room. We opened that window every morning and evening to air out the room. ( it looks like that made the guests that were staying the other room uncomfortable) so they locked our window with a string that you couldn’t open the window at all to let in any air… and you know what the worse part is.. they didn’t tell us they were doing that.. they took advantage of the fact that we let them in to clean our room TO LOCK OUR WINDOW that’s what made me angry - they could have talked to us about it first… we made the person unlock the window because in what world is it normal to lock a window.. I mean I’m still shocked.. i feel bad that this happened because other than that the hotel is great and clean..
