Amazing hotel ...
Inaccessible by car, u have to park 100 meters away because of very narrow and super romantic street leading to hotel... but staff comes and get you from wherever u parked nearby ...
So special... loved it ..
Nothing
Just an amazing place with great food and wonderful service. We loved our stay at the hotel and all the good food there. So worth a visit for a dinner too.
Gorgeous castle turned into luxury hotel.
Beautiful village. So peaceful to come back to after long days exploring the coast. Top notch service!
Great location, both at a macro level (inside the Cagnes Villle Haute, beautiful medieval town) and local level (spread around several older structures but very cleverly integrated.) Extremely clean and tidy. The room met expectations and was comfortable. The staff was very kind and they all spoke English... but some did not speak French very well! Warning to any French speaker I guess.
First, I thought the staff, while kind, was generally unhelpful. They felt young and fresh (we came in June) and they needed to go find answers somewhere else for 70% of my questions. Some were minor (e.g. how to operate the pool controls) but some were a big deal (e.g. specific room charges at checkout.) Overall the staff training did not meet my expectation at that price point.
Which brings me to the price. I don't think the value is there. It is a very charming hotel in a beautiful location, but the experience did not command what we paid.
We absolutely loved our stay at this charming hotel. It is a luxurious boutique property woven into the stone fabric of a medieval French hilltop village.
Our family reserved several rooms, and each one had its own unique character and exquisite décor.
One of the highlights was the series of outdoor terraces on multiple levels, offering beautiful spaces to relax and take in the atmosphere. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and every meal was exceptional.
The staff was excellent - consistently warm, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to be accommodating. A most magical, memorable experience.
This is a unique property, not accessible by car, but we managed to park near the Castle at the top of the hill and the walk was short and fun to get back to the car. On arrival, however, Gregory picked us up at our parking space, drove us through impossibly narrow streets, all the while downplaying the difficulty, then checked us in, acting as concierge, bellhop, and finally maître D at the dining room which has a balcony with an absolutely killer view of the Mediterranean.
Great stuff very helpful. The rooms are spacious and private set in historic area. Breakfast was good.
Location is far away from the main attractions, location of the parking lot is far from the hotel and requires pick up from staff, most importantly the rooms were very humid and even though the air condition was running, it didn’t reduce it. Private terraces required better cleaning and maintenance. Lots of bugs in the garden.

Wonderful historic hill top hotel with views to the sea
Dinner on the terrace was very very good
Complements to the chef ,
and the staff were lovely friendly and relaxed
Getting to the hotel was tricky Had to be met by the staff to transport luggage up the narrow cobbled st Got a bit lost finding the suggested car park but it was certainly worth it
The location is absolutely stunning, a medieval town overlooking the French Rivera. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Yet the service was distinctly uninterested by the majority of staff. Apparently there is a free transfer service from the hotel to the train station but we were unable to utilize it. We arrived to a kind welcome from just one employee whom we never saw again. Any request we made - a slightly later checkout of 1130 or 12, a transfer to the train station was greeted with shrugs and no commitment. We asked the front desk again on our departure at 11 for the transfer and still received the same shrugs of shoulders. We left our bags to go to lunch and when we returned, the two front desk employees couldn't be bothered to help us with anything. We were left to find our bags and finally a third employee (a young man) offered to help us to the door. We heard belated and half hearted good byes from the front desk as we were literally out the door, with no transfer waiting, no offer of assistance, pretty much just goodbye. For the price we paid, and for it being our anniversary weekend, we were surprised by the lack of care or concern for our needs or wellbeing. We ended up walking all the way to the station. The breakfast there was the same - our order was taken, our food brought to us and then nothing further was offered or checked on. Even when we left the restaurant nothing was done or said. We have received better, kinder service from roadside motels in the US, very surprised that this hotel calls itself a luxury brand, because the service was truly subpar. Even the local restaurant called Jimmy's offered better service and attention. I wouldn't recommend it.
ロケーションが最高で、かわいいホテル
2日滞在でしたが、タオル、バスローブを交換してくれなかった。
交換するかどうかも聞かれなかったと思う。
