Pros:

Hotel con camere pulite e spaziose, colazione non a buffet, ma alla carta: molto buona e scelta azzeccata per ridurre sprechi e aumentare notevolmente la qualità dei prodotti; bellissima la terrazza con vista dove veniva servita

Cons:

Posizione elevata, quindi buona per la vista, ma leggermente faticoso per raggiungere il centro a piedi. Parcheggio con poco margine di manovra, da prenotare in anticipo.

We were lucky to find this heavenly place.
Pros:

I wish I could have stayed longer! This hotel was a superb experience in itself. The beautiful historic house set in a lush green garden on a hill is absolutely full of charm. After a hot day of walking and sightseeing in Funchal, opening the front gate and walking up the cobblestone path to the house felt like stepping into another world. The balcony view over Funchal Bay was just amazing. We spent hours sipping Madeira, totally absorbed in the dusk. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast in the garden made us feel like King and Queen (and young Prince)!

None! Can't think of anything negative.

Pros:

Hotel tres agréable sur les hauteurs de Funchal avec un joli jardin donnant sur la ville et la mer. Chambre confortable et spacieuse, joliment agencée. La dame servant les petits déjeuners est charmante et tres serviable.
A une dizaine de mn du centre ville.

Cons:

L’homme qui sert les petits déjeuners. Je préférais avoir affaire a ca collègue toujours agréable.

Casa lejos de casa en Funchal
Pros:

Muy buen hotel con una vista espectacular de la bahía de Funchal. El personal es súper atento y amable, hacen todo lo posible por que tu estadía sea espectacular. El hotel esta muy cerca del centro (hicimos todo a pie). El desayuno del hotel fue el mejor que tuvimos en Madeira, es bastante generoso y tienes muchas opciones por si te quedas varios días (nos quedamos 4 noches y nunca comimos lo mismo)
Definitivamente volveremos

Ottima esperienza in hotel ma come in famiglia!
Pros:

L'hotel è in una zona comodissima per partire con la macchina. Lo staff è superlativo e la colazione anche se non a buffet è varia e ampia. Camera ampia con cuscini comodissimi e condizionatore efficiente e silenzioso. Parcheggio sotterraneo. Giardini curati e spazio calmo e familiare.

Cons:

Il parcheggio non ha molte disponibilità ed è a pagamento.

Merci au personnel de l’hôtel😁
Pros:

Le personnel agréable et accueillant.
L’hôtel est très bien situé, au calme, à seulement 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville.
Il y a des bus qui passent fréquemment devant l’hôtel

Cons:

Dénivelé assez important des rues.
Un petit coin piscine aurait été un vrai plus !
