Beautiful rooms. Great central location. Very friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

Incredibly friendly and helpful desk staff.
Great central location in Manchester. Initially I had a problem with the shower in my room (not draining) and was immediately upgraded to a better room. Hotel is right on the canal

Cons:

Party location. Nightclubs etc. However, I will say that I returned to the hotel around midnight and the streets were quiet and very little noise to be heard from nightclubs

Great location, quality rooms, nicely styled and unique.
Pros:

Spacious, stylish room with lots of quirky features. Quiet and cool, the air con worked well in one of the mini heat waves we are getting. Good welcome by the staff.

Cons:

Modest hotel facilities, that was clear in the booking. More than offset by good rooms.

Great Stay In Central Manchester
Pros:

Incredible central location, in a beautifully restored building. Comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Nespresso coffee machine.

Cons:

The room was looking a little tired in places and could probably do with a touch up and refresh. Noise at night was a problem - the rooms do have secondary double glazing which I am sure helps, but unfortunately the bottom half of my secondary double glazing unit was missing / had previously been broken and not replaced.

4-star is overrated!
Pros:

The size of the room and the cleanliness were great. The building was old but well-maintained.

Cons:

The breakfast was not good, small and cold breakfast in basket delivered to the room; was not what we expected from a 4-star hotel! It is a very small hotel with limited facilities; so no restaurants or buffet for breakfast and dinner! Located at the top of a busy bar and crowded area, which gets noisy at night.

Terrible breakfast.
Pros:

Nice staff, nice room, good location

Cons:

noisy room, terrible breakfast. We booked a room with breakfast. We paid for the room upfront only to be told after paying that their bistro was closed so no hot breakfast. They supplied a small continental breakfast which was delivered to the room. It was terrible. two small glasses of warm milk and fruit juice, god knows how long it had been sitting out for. Two pastries were rock hard, baby bell cheese obviously not refrigerated as was warm. Overall disgusting and very disappointing. Feel very short changed!

Great hotel, highly recommend
Pros:

Great location, nice bed, good shower, very nice continental breakfast

Cons:

Building works next door, forgot to shut window so was woken by bottles being cleared early doors. No free flag of Kyle on entry which has always happened in the past.

Stains and light pains!
Pros:

Hotel public areas were nice. Great location.

Cons:

Part of the room had a glass ceiling with blinds that didn't cover the glass, light streamed in a 5am meaning a terrible nights sleep. Also red hot in there and air con was pretty poor and couldn't be adjusted.
Bed sheet had suspicious stains on it, was changed when we complained.
We did tell the girl on reception about the terrible blinds and lack of sleep, she kind of shrugged it off. Heigh ho. If you get given that room, just ask to swap straight away.

Great location, great staff, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this place to anyone - just don’t use the lift!
Pros:

Great location, very friendly and accommodating staff.

Cons:

The lift at the back of the hotel (to get to room 36) is the dodgiest lift I’ve ever been in. It fell down two floors, then carried on. This should be looked at.

Pleasant stay, helpful staff within walking distance to trains and buses and large shopping area.
Pros:

Proximity to ameneties and city centre.

Cons:

We didnt order breakfast when we checked in but changed our minds next morning as it was raining .We could not get breakfast as it has to be pre ordered, I assume hotel doesnt have its own kitchen. No problem,we ate out instead.
