the happiest host we ever met at.. the best kept secret of the Alliance Hotels Restaurant Plovdiv
Pros:

Room was big , the beds were comfortable.The room had A/C as well . The bathroom was same very good size as well, and could easily fit 2 people in the shower. The rooms also had fridge with icebox . There were sofa and tables as well as a desk area for laptop. There was plenty of charging points including USB ports. There was a reasonable size TV which we didn't watch and a good size wardrobe for clothes. The receptionist was very nice and she did absolutely everything to make sure we had a nice room and she asked us to tell her if we were happy with the room she also made sure I knew how to get into the hotel after dark with the fob entry system. The view from the hotel room was really nice we had both Tepes as our view. The hotel was walking distance to central Plovdiv plaza , the train station and the bus station.The absolute highlight of the stay was the restaurant! The server who has worked there for many years was so good he was one of the best servers that we have ever seen. He was happy , friendly , he made sure we were happy with everything and explained the menu, he was an absolute joy to be around. His whole attitude towards all the customers was beyond exceptional. He made sure that everyone was looked after. If you don't stay at the hotel please go to the restaurant. I forgot to add the food was perfect.and the price for the food was amazing. We had 2 soups (tarator) I need to add that this was the best tarrator I have ever had and I have had alot! for the main course I had 2 stuffed peppers with rice and meat and the choice of yoghurt or bechamel sauce and my husband had rylo Stefani ( was similar to a meatloaf with vegetables and egg inside with mashed potatoes we also shared a desert Tolumbichka and ice-cream with drinks and came to €18.00. I can tell you this you would find it very hard to get just the main dishes we had for anywhere less than €20. The food was fresh and again amazing ..

Cons:

So here's the down side to our stay which in all honesty made the hotel look cold and felt off 1).the Lift door even when in operation was open at least 2-5 CMS it scared me a little as I thought I may get stuck inside.
2).Lights for the corridors to the rooms. I understand that everyone is trying to do their best to be green but the sensors for the lights in the corridors were not synced properly which left us walking in the dark at times 3) no lock on the inside of the hotel room door.. this made me genuinely feel uneasy because it felt like I didn't have complete security even though my husband was with me.4) the terrace was not separate for 4-5 rooms it was open and where there was no dividers it meant other guests could easily see into each others rooms. Also the terrace was covered with fake grass and there was a lot of rainwater sat on 60% of the terrace bearing in mind it was probably a 20 quadrat terrace maybe more and there was no drainage that could be seen . Maybe the fake grass had blocked it. 5) the swimming pool which was on the booking site and was apparently functional was most definitely not! I can guarantee that this swimming pool has been out of operation for minimum 1year it was very dirty and a tree had started to grow in the corner of it!..
This is the last of them all was the bathroom and toilet. There was no ventilation that either of us could locate and the water was connected to another rooms bathroom because the water changed from hot to cold in a instant and I was burnt a few times which really didn't go down well. We were shocked that the water system was not separate for each room

Pros:

Стаята, която ни предложиха, надмина очакванията ни, както като размери, така и като гледка. Бяха се погрижили престоят ни да е максимално приятен. Чисто и добре поддържано. Персоналът и в хотела, и в ресторанта, е любезен и отзивчив.

Cons:

Осветлението беше малко оскъдно, особено в банята.
