The location couldnt be better, you are on La Rambla in the historic hotel where numerous famous guests stayed including Albert Einstein. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good. The hotel is simple but clean.

El hotel es antiguo y modesto, pero más que suficiente para una estancia agradable.

El equipo es excelente, especialmente José, quien desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestra partida marcó toda la diferencia. Es un verdadero ejemplo de un excelente profesional de la hotelería.

El hotel está en plena Rambla, con una ubicación estupenda, cerca del metro, de los principales puntos turísticos y de excelentes opciones gastronómicas.

¡Lo recomiendo totalmente y sin duda volveremos!

We had a lovely stay at Cuarto Naciones.
Pros:

location was very central to what we wanted to see. The breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very quiet at night.

Cons:

The road works out the front on the La Rambla were a bit disruptive for Taxis (not the fault of the hotel) and are expected to go on for another year.
Our stay in Cuatro Naciones was good but was soured and saddened by the theft of my wife's gold necklace whilst we were out walking one afternoon. The staff were very supportive and sympathetic.
A warning to travellers to Barcelona don't wear expensive jewellery nd keep an eye out for pick pockets they are everywhere there.
