The Oriental Siam Resort

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel à Chiang Mai. L’endroit est tout simplement un petit paradis, très paisible et parfaitement entretenu.

Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant, toujours souriant et de très bon conseil, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable.

Un grand merci tout particulier à la jeune femme présente le soir, qui m’a gentiment aidé pour une réservation. Son aide et sa gentillesse ont vraiment fait la différence.

Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation !

Everything. The place was outstanding in it's entirety.

The property was a lush oasis and everything was perfect. Compared to similar places in Asia (Bali / Malaysia) it was surprisingly quiet (animal noises - not something owners can influence but was nice to be in the calm). We especially appreciated all the water flowing and the safe space for our children to roam free. Also the playground for the kids and toys available made it extra special for them

Owners, management and staff were all amazing. Polite, gracious and accommodating. The resort grounds were a beautiful respite from the busy city streets. Our room was extremely comfortable, spotless and very spacious with a great veranda.

We were surprised with the Jasmine Villa which was a really big beautiful honeymoon suite. The staff were really sweet and amazing and very attentive!

Excellent and friendly service from Nat, Kobby and their team. Beautiful, lush gardens and pool. The staff are so helpful and kind with small children, even steaming vegetables for my one-year-old baby and helping to make special meals. The sounds of the waterfall, stream and birds are relaxing every evening. Fresh coconut on the menu!

Peace of paradise in the city. Amazing garden made by a famous garden architect. Amazing staff so kind and very good with kids. Spacious villa, very clean and nice water pressure. Entire staff very helpful and special thanks to nat for helping us with our visa. Her love for this family run place is noticeable in every detail and genuine interest she shows in all her guests. Everyone working in hospitality should intern in this boutique resort and learn from her and the staff. Our son of 3 years felt like he was home. Very comfortable pool for him to practice swimming with a shallow and deeper part. Every morning fresh eggs from the free range chickens that also live on the property. We are sad to have to leave this place and may rebook our travel plans to come back after a few weeks. We did not notice any air pollution since the burning of rice fields is now banned in the north. Beautiful daytrips to lush surrounding areas of Chiang Mai were easily arranged, we took grab everywhere and avoided planned tours. Very affordable. Our son loved swimming at the Mae sa waterfalls a lot. Lots of good food and cost areas downtown Chiang Mai around the old Centre, also easily accessible by grab for about 115 Thai bat per ride. ( 15 min away)

Super schöne Unterkunft, das Personal ist wunderbar und war so toll und herzlich zu unseren Kindern. Wir waren rundum begeistert.

Oasis of beautiful trees, pools and luxuriant plant life. Staff were brilliant. Rooms spacious and spotless. The manager was excellent as was the breakfast.

Alles hat uns gefallen. Das Personal war total freundlich. Wir haben uns so gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Nur um zwei Beispiele zu nennen: Unsere Tochter hatte Geburtstag während wir hier waren und Kobby und das ganze Team haben bei einem Kuchen Happy Birthday gesungen. Der Bungalow wurde abends fertig gemacht zur Nacht inkl. Moskitonetz. Es hat wirklich alles sehr gut gepasst, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Danke…

If I could give this truly lovely little boutique resort 10 stars I would - we really couldn’t have chose a better place to stay with our 4.5 year old twins. Nat, the owner is so helpful & friendly & so are all staff, who all do their jobs fantastically. There is a genuine feeling of care & teamwork all round. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family villa which is actually 2 separated en-suite double rooms, with a shared open space/hall/reception area between then, opening on to a really great size balcony with comfy furniture, overlooking the pool. The grounds & gardens are beautiful & so lovingly designed & maintained. Butterflies & dragonflies flutter around the gorgeous plants & the sound of water features around the central pond, complete with fish we helped to feed, is so relaxing! It really is a heavenly little Oasis that feels a world away from Chiang Mai city but only 10 mins via grab or bolt, so it’s very easy & cheap to get around. There’s street food, laundry & a 7eleven within walking distance, but we ate at the hotel & had laundry sorted by the housekeeping team too. Bedding & pillows are premium & soft. Firm mattresses, which we are ok with. Lovely slippers & robes too. The food was all delicious! We stayed 8 nights & there was just about enough variety on the menu for us. We loved breakfast in the laid back restaurant, although simple choices of different egg dishes, waffles, cereals & pancakes it was always fab, with a huge platter of fresh fruits & great coffee, and the setting is lovely by the water. Always the tastiest watermelon & must mention the Tom Kha at lunch/dinner as it is so good! The pools & playground are both perfect for young families. One of the most important things for us was how well all the interns looked after our twins. We were able to enjoy our meals, sit and finish when they wanted to run off & play, the staff would jump in & look after them. Theres a little play corner in the restaurant & scooters and ride-on’s for the kids to use & it’s very safe for them to circuit around the pool and restaurant, under the watchful eye of the very kind and hugely appreciated staff. I can’t offer enough thanks and appreciation! If you have young children and are considering Chiang Mai this is absolutely the place to stay! Thanks to all at the resort for looking after us so well! If we come back to Chiang Mai in the future, we will certainly stay again :)
