What an incredible stay! We absolutely loved everything about this hotel!
Breakfast was amazing — a mini Turkish breakfast every morning! Such a wonderful way to start the day.
But what really made our stay special was the staff. Every single one of them was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. You could really tell that they genuinely wanted you to have the best possible experience as their guest. Mohammed, one of the front desk employees, even helped us carry our luggage all the way to where we needed to get our transportation, which was pretty far from the hotel. That extra kindness meant so much to us!
We also LOVED the location! It made us feel like we actually belonged to the neighborhood rather than just visiting as tourists. People were constantly stopping to take pictures right outside where we were staying, so we joked that it made us feel famous! 😂 It was such a fun and beautiful atmosphere.
And the rooftop… WOW! One of our favorite parts of the whole stay. We had a couple of drinks there in the afternoon and just enjoyed the incredible view. Absolutely beautiful!

My husband and I have been visiting Istanbul for more than 40 years, and after more than a dozen visits, Anemon Otel Galata remains our favourite hotel. We return every time we can—and always request the same room: the Executive Suite on the first floor, where the magnificent Galata Tower feels close enough to touch from the window.
The hotel enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of Galata, an area that is always vibrant with activity and popular with both locals and visitors. Its traditional character, elegant historic atmosphere and lovely furnishings make it a particularly charming place to stay, especially for those who appreciate Istanbul’s old-world spirit.
The staff are warm, friendly and exceptionally accommodating. Throughout our stay, they took great care to ensure that everything was perfect, and their attentive service made us feel genuinely welcomed and at home.
Breakfast is excellent, with a pleasing selection and a wonderful start to the day. The hotel also has a rooftop restaurant—formerly the breakfast venue—with an outstanding view across Istanbul’s historic district. It is a beautiful setting in which to admire the city and absorb its timeless atmosphere.
For us, Anemon Otel Galata is far more than simply a hotel: it is part of our Istanbul tradition. We look forward to returning, staying in our beloved Executive Suite and once again experiencing the warmth, character and incomparable location that make this hotel so special.
