We had an amazing stay, the hotel and staff were all so lovely and welcoming. The location is amazing right on the old town strip. Not to mention the pool and bar area is beautiful. A special shoutout to Dipu the worker at the bar at the pool he was so kind and approachable really made us feel at home.

Pool fabulous with large starfish beanbag floats, that moulded to your body.
Breakfast excellent, so much choice from tasty English bacon, sausage and eggs.
To healthy options of ginger shots , yogurts with chia seeds and fresh cut up fruits.
Fresh pastries, great bread and croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice, selection of other juices and daily flavoured water. Prosecco too!
The bar area and four poster day beds were very chilled, relaxing music and never struggled to get a day bed.
Snacks and food served from the bar were tasty and fresh.
Can not fault the bar staff, so friendly and always smiling.
Great location and lift right down to the old town.

Such a lovely hotel right in the middle of everything. So close to the beach and right in to the main strip of bars and restaurants. Place was very clean and the staff were lovely. Pool was 10/10 one of the cleanest Iv been in and the sun lounges were super comfortable. Bar snacks and cocktails were amazing, fully made the most of the fresh made frozen daiquiris. Will definitely be back when in Portugal 😊
The hotel room was nice. The staff around the pool were lovely. It was noisy on the evening with loud noise untill early hours. I was asked to pay £150 deposit which was a shock, i was told when I checked out which was a week ago that they would take the tax out of this amount & the rest would be returned to me in a couple of days. I have not received the rest of my money. I emailed but have not had a response.

We were a group of 9 people staying at the hotel and it was a disaster with reception staff. They were completely incompetent. They tried to over charge and make every person staying double pay for their rooms. Even when we showed receipts and payments made before arriving to the hotel- paying the full amount, the man and woman at check in insisted we had not paid. They overcharged one person- doubling their cost of the stay. It took 45 minutes arguing with the receptionist to get the money refunded- no apology or admission of wrongdoing. The female receptionist was particularly poor at her job and not trained at all. She really lacks people skills and ability for the job. It really took away from our experience and we would not recommend for people to stay here unfortunately. I’ve stayed at this hotel 4 times previously and never had this experience. The hotel has been taken over by new people and it’s gone downhill incredibly quickly as a result. I wouldn’t stay again.
The location is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. The pool area is nice, and the food served is high quality.
The front desk staff were extremely unprofessional and incompetent. We arrived as a group of nine and had all prepaid for our stay through Booking.com. Despite this, every single member of our group was questioned at check-in and told that no payment had been received.
As a result of this confusion, one member of our group was required to pay for her room a second time. When she later approached the front desk to request a refund for the duplicate charge, she was met with such a rude attitude, and no attempt to rectify the situation. No apology was offered, nor was there any acknowledgment of the inconvenience and stress caused by the hotel's mistake.
It is astonishing that a hotel can be so disorganized and unprepared to deal with prepaid bookings. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service displayed by the front desk staff was unacceptable.

My husband and myself are just home from a three night stay and are already missing this hotel. We go away every year and this place is that good we are booking here again for next year. We arrived too early for check in and because we had to wait a little the fantastic reception staff give us free drinks at the bar. Also the man behind the bar (with the glasses sorry we didnt catch his name) was brilliant my husband complimented to him how good the burgers are lol. Can't wait to come back next year.
