Staff should be more helpful
Pros:

It was cheap, and we stayed only for one nights so I didn't expect much. The view was great.

Cons:

The WC was clogged, which we realised on our first morning, because we arrived very late last night. The receptionist told my father to use the shared bathoom on the ground floor (we were on the 7th). When I went down and told her it was not okay, we needed a functioning bathroom, only then she called the maintenance.

Basic but perfectly adequate and great value for money
Pros:

Basic but comfortable

Cons:

It’s basic student accomodation but great value for the money. Remember no plates or cutlery etc included. There is a Walmart 3 min drive away so grab some paper plates and disposable cutlery

It was ok. They were kind and upgraded. The beds were not made well. Perhaps a persons first time making a bed.

The view over the river was fantastic. We liked that there were two separate bedrooms. Air conditioning is always a plus. The folks at the front desk were pleasant to deal with.

Cons:

Housekeeping needed to up their game. The bathroom had grime all along the edges and corners and the shower hadn’t been cleaned (we found hair stuck to the stall). Ground in grime on the kitchenette floor needs serious elbow grease, and again dirty in corners. We could smell stale cigarette smoke. The bed was tiny for two people.

Simple, but spacious bedrooms for a comfortable stay.
Pros:

Convenient location. I was able to do an early check-in, which was very helpful. The room is spacious.

Cons:

I wanted to do an early check in and called and left messages a couple of times, but did not get any call backs. So I had to go to the reception and ask the receptionist in person. The air conditioning was very strong, so I used a blanket. There were lots of hair on the blanket and was not very clean.

Not one thing, it was absolutely disgusting! Filthy, smelly, and broken down

Cons:

Everything, it stunk like a bar room floor, it was filthy and we left and stayed somewhere else.

simple place, would stay there again.
Pros:

location was fine. we were staying one night to break the trip to Jasper national park. Hotel was near the Canadian highway. Plenty of food choices. parking was good. No problems at all.

Cons:

room was quite basic, but reasonable as it was on university grounds in the summer.
staff seemed to be students and they were unable to answer questions about things off campus.
