The breakfast was good ..staff friendly
The hotel was very smelly..stains in the carpets ...staying for a wedding nearby so couldn't change last minute as would have. Very disappointed
Friendly and helpful staff. Staff were considerate and accommodated the dietary needs of members of my family group.
On checking in late evening they managed to link my two separate bookings so I didn’t have to move rooms.
There was a convector heater in the room which I did need.
I had to ask for a hair drier, there wasn’t one in the room.
The breakfast was good but no breakfast buffet. The menu didn’t list fruit / fruit juice / cereals / yoghurt. I did get fruit juice so was happy. No marmalade but there was jam.
Location. Helpful staff.
Hotel is dated shabby and not particularly clean. Areas on route to our room smelled awful.
Did the job and not many other options in the area.
Location and friendly welcome.
Very grubby and dusty. Windows in dire need of a clean.
Mattress had uncomfortable springs and was sagging. No mattress protector. Flat pillows.
The gentleman on the front desk was very polite and explained everything at check in perfectly, plenty of free parking, large rooms, clean and tidy.
Super close to Marchants Hill pgl site where was son was staying.
The guttering was blocked above the window in my room and during the overnight rain I experienced, the sound of the rain was quite loud.
Nothing
it was dirty there was handprints on the wall. There was dust and stains in the carpet of the room. The bathroom was extremely dirty and the shower was poor. I have never stayed in a hotel this dirty before. The floor made noises everytime you stood on it. There was cobwebs on the ceilings.
Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Great breakfast. Faded but charming and interesting original decor.
Floorboards a bit creaky.
All the chipped paint work, the hot water tap did not turn off properly. Windows didn't close properly. Shower head had plastic bag tied round it to stop bracket slipping down. Light over basin did not work. Hand soap and cream dispensers really old and clogged.
The hotel staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly. I liked the size of my room and the fact it had a bidet as well as a bath and toilet in it.
The breakfast was excellent with a good choice.
The poor look of it from the outside and no comfy chairs in the back garden.
I didn't like the pillows, which were not comfy.and quite flat.
The location was very good to access the Punchbowl
The poor standard of decor, paint flaking and handles falling off. In the bathroom there was a continuous sulphur smell. The basin had no plug and the shower just didn't work, which was frustrating.
It just seems like a great hotel that has had no maintenance or upgrade for many years.
Very concerned about scam websites for this hotel when trying to boo
TV PACKAGE VERY LIMITED.
FEMALE RECEPTIONIST ABRASIVE AND UNACCOMODATING.
YOU ARE SITTING ON A GOLD MINE. MAXIMISE BY UPGRADING.
The location was beautiful . The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious.
No breakfast until 10am on my day of departure, so had to set off without breakfast.
Parts of the hotel needed decorating, and felt a bit uncared for.
The breakfast was really good, well cooked and plenty of it. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The location is fabulous and with a bit of updating and a lick of paint, the hotel could be fabulous!
The shower in one of the rooms we booked didn’t work properly, and the water stopped at one point.
The hole place was very shabby
