In reality nothing. It fid look good on the internet.
Run down, scruffy. The room (number 304) had an old window which would not close, the loo was difficult to flush, the bed had hard edges.
Room was very good breakfast was very tasty staff were very friendly

Not much really. The two staff were both reasonably friendly but massively over stretched.
The service was slow - it took us over an hour to get served with two salads, which, when they came, were pretty poor. The facilities were extremely old, in some cases dirty (and very smelly in places). Over all very poor indeed.

Stunning location, staff excellent and food good (standard pub grub, breakfast and dinner, but all good)
Where to start…. Falling apart at the seams, worn carpets, peeling wallpaper, just very run down and in need of £millions spending on it - might be cheaper to knock it down and start again. Unfortunately it also wasn’t very clean.
Parking is reasonable.
The hotel had an old wet damp smell which was not pleasant. There isn't a lot else to say, but to constantly smell that overnight was not at all restful, and as we were there for work, we needed to rest.
