Excellant and rare accomodation in one of the best locations in Sydney
Pros:

The hotel has lots of character and quite a unique approach to providing a personal and genuine form of engagement with guests. It is in a great location - not amoung hi rise chain hotels and yet very accessible to the city and surrounding harbor front and historic area of woolamaloo.

Cons:

The bathrooms are all designed for accessibility and could do with renovation - but then it would probably cease to be so affordable .

Pros:

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnisch für dieses Hotel ist absolut gerechtfertigt.
Der Opera House Lookout war in Gehdistanz.
Der Hotelmanager hat sich für uns interessiert (nicht so, wie in einer schlechten Rezession beschrieben)
Das Frühstück ist zwar nicht sehr umfangreich, jedoch gut und ausreichend
Wir waren sehr zu frieden mit dem Hotel und deren Leistungen und würden es wieder buchen.

Cons:

Das Mobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotel wirkt etwas alt. Darum nur eine 8 und nicht eine 9

Good location and great breakfast, room was well overdue to be refurbished
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic and staff are lovely. We really enjoyed our complimentary breakfast.

Cons:

Room was very tired and overdue for a freshen up. Bathroom was a bit groty and generally we didn't stay in the room longer than we needed. Fine for a sleep overnight.

Great Location with parking
Pros:

We were greeted by a very friendly nice lady at reception which was lovely.She answered all our questions we had.We didnt spend an enormous amount of time in our room but we loved the big comfy bed and loved how quiet it was.Having car parking on the premises was great too.Location was great,only a short walk to the city. The breakfast was lovely,very handy on the morning that we were leaving to be able to grab a bite to eat before we drove our 6 hour trip home.😃

Cons:

The room was all we needed but the bathroom could have been a little cleaner.It wasnt bad,but could have done with an extra scrub.The room was small,as was our little balcony but it was ok.
A suggestion,I would make is if parking has been requested then maybe the code could be sent beforehand,as there was nowhere to pull up the car when we arrived.
Overall,we would happily stay there again.

Pros:

It’s a decent, clean hotel that’s cracking value for money and not too far to walk to Circular Quay, as long as it’s dry, or Uber was not too expensive in the wet or if you’re tired after a long day out. The included buffet breakfast was pretty good. There are some decent eateries just 5 minutes walk away.

Cons:

It wasn’t a problem for us, but the hotel is tucked away in a dark side street that might be intimidating returning after dark for some people.

If like me, you only need a clean, comphy place to sleep. This is the place to stay in Sydney!
Pros:

I loved this location. Walked to the botanical gardens, a local modern gym that has walk-in rates, and even a classic Aussie pub among heaps of other bistros, cafes and high-end restaurants. I could even walk over the park to get downtown for some quick shopping. I found a route that was less than a 15-minute walk to downtown Sydney shopping. Oh, did I mention the breakfast buffet with hot eggs/bacon, etc and perfect self-serve coffee machine...? The gentleman who runs the place knows customer service. I always felt attended to

Cons:

Don't be deterred by the bright blue neon if you arrive at night. I have to say my first impression was.. oh, no what have I booked here! I get it that it does make it easier to find at night, as it is down a narrow, quiet side street(another plus), but it is a little intimidating as you arrive.
