Das Hotel hat mich spontan gerettet als mein Bus mich versetzt hatte und ich in Narvik gestrandet ear. Das Hotel lag gut, da direkt vor dem Hotel eine Bushaltestelle lag. Ich kam mit dem Bus quasi an der Haustür an und bin dort einen Tag später wieder abgefahren. Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist auch sehr schön gewesen und das Einkaufszentrum nebenan sehr praktisch. Das Frühstück war ein Traum, es blieben keinerlei Wünsche offen. Die öffentlichen Bereiche waren sehr modern und gepflegt.

Cons:

Leider war mein Zimmer sehr alt und offensichtlich länger nicht mehr saniert worden. Es war eher eine Zeitkapsel der 1990er Jahre. Allerdings war ich froh über die spontane Unterkunft, daher ist das meckern auf hohem Niveau. Soweit ich verstanden hab, ist nur die günstigste Zimmerkategorie unrenoviert und die anderen Zimmer alle deutlich moderner.

Pros:

Nice views over the city and the fijord. Good location right by the bus stop to Lofoten or the airport. Breakfast is good. Excellent restaurant on the top floor overlooking the city.

Cons:

The windows were dirty. This looks bad when you enter the room and the sun shine high-lights the dirt on the window.

Breakfast starts on Saturdays and Sundays only at 8am. IMO this is not acceptable. Many travelers will need catch the flight to Oslo. The breakfast in a bag is not replacement for the value of a real breakfast.

Great quality, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Smart, clean and comfortable room. Great fjord views from our room. Very good breakfast and the connected pub offers good variety evening meals with good atmosphere.

Loistava sijainti ja aamiainen. Helppo tulla junalta. Keskusta on aivan lähellä. Keittiöstä sai pyydettäessä termarin täyteen kuumaa vettä, huippua!
