Very nice hotel
Pros:

L’Appartement turned out to be a very nice hotel, with more features for a lower price than at Montréal’s big chain hotels.

My room was unusually large and had a substantial balcony. It did indeed come with a well-equipped kitchen including a nice refrigerator. The air-conditioning system worked fine.

A good breakfast was included in the price. There was a substantial choice.

Staff were invariably pleasant, and they let me stay an hour late. They also turned out to be honest, for which I’ll forever be grateful. I’ve gotten in the (perhaps unwise) habit when traveling of carrying a couple of extra ID cards and some cash in a plastic bag that I keep in a sock. I somehow managed to forget to put the bag back in my sock when I was rushing to leave. I discovered this while out walking around after I’d checked out. I went back to the hotel, mentioned the problem to front-desk staff, and was handed a room key. I didn’t find the plastic bag in the room but located the housekeeper. She handed me the bag. I’ve regretted ever since that I didn’t have any Canadian cash with which to reward her.

I do have one very minor complaint about l’Appartement. As in many older hotels, there was a very faint whiff of ancient tobacco smoke in my room (probably 802). I dealt with this by keeping the balcony door open. That wouldn’t work so well in midwinter.

Muy Limpio. La ubicación es ideal.

Cons:

El desayuno (tenía todo frío). Solo el
café se entrega caliente. Nos tocaron 2 días de corte de Luz que nos complicó mucho y nos obligó a salir

Pros:

Room size and location.

Cons:

Very tired decor and facilities, rooms are stuck somewhere in the 90s. Once you get over its age, the inclusions make for a comfortable stay. Air conditioning needed to be off to sleep. The breakfast didn’t work for us, so we bought our own for the room.

Pros:

The breakfast was great but a little crazy when it’s busy. The breakfast staff, who are typically overlooked, did a fabulous job keeping it moving.

Cons:

The underground parking, which you pay for, is a wee bit scary, very low ceiling clearance and very small spots and most need someone to help guide you in.

Le personnel de jour vraiment aimable et avec les réponses bien claires 😉

Cons:

Quand on est arrivé à minuit la personne à la réception n'était pas pour nous écoutait la télé ou son cell mais n'était pas intéressé à nous aider même avant d'arriver pour l'adresse, le stationnement etc.

Pros:

grande chambre, avec cuisine et salon

Cons:

Hôtel qui vieillit dans son jus... Nous y étions il y a 12 ans et rien n'a changé, au contraire le mobilier, éclairages et salle de bain sont devenus vétustes...
Petit déjeuner vraiment basique et pas de produits frais...

It was mid lowkey.
Pros:

I liked the room balcony, the view, the pool and the patio area was nice.

Cons:

It stunk outside like compost. The parking situation is not ideal.
