Ramada by Wyndham London Stansted Airport

Stay at hotel was okay. Used prior to early morning flight. One thing cropped up at point of booking. Ramada charge for parking unless you book via Ramada directly. I was not aware of this charge, it is only £5. This charge has been introduced since May as i stayed there then and all guests had free parking.

Expect better of Ramada to be honest. Lift didn’t work, room very tired. Bed and pillow very good however and staff very attentive. Breakfast good. Would not stay there again but the staff and the bed were good.

Very convenient for stansted airport

Convenient for airport. Only one extra pillow for two guests. Only one chair in the room for two guests. Decor could do with a brightening up. Nice to have kettle in room with tea and coffee.

The room and hotel are need of some TLC, for sure, but the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and I have to give props to the receptionist. He was a lovely young guy.

No heating

We were put up in a dated disabled room. Surprised that we were charged £5:00 for parking as there was no mention of this.

Room was an igloo, so bad they provided an oil heater just to try and warm it up, decoration was showing its age with damage to walls

We only stayed 8 hours as it was a stop over before an early flight so didnt get chance to see much at all
It was a perfect little stop over close to Stansted but very expensive for a few hours.

The property is clean. accessible to shops and dining. Receptionist was not helpful when I needed help for my car that has gone fllat of battery. I was helpless and no intentions of giving me assistance to where I could get some help. It was frustrating.

Carpet has lots of stains. Floor not clean. Hair on towel.

Not so good this time only because I was put on first floor and lift not work ,
Visit Before I was ground floor , I have weak legs so not good to use stairs with luggage .

Tired looking room, bathroom looked like a public toilet, stayed in room 214 and walls were heavily marked and weirdly half the bedroom floor was tiled the same as the bathroom! Not what I expected from a muti national chain. About bearable for a one night stay if you have an early flight but in future will pay the vit extra and stay at the Novatel. Always parking is not free.

Basic accomodation. Ideal for night before early flight. Got charged for parking at Birch hanger which have never been charged before. Be aware.

Could do with a refresh

Was very convenient, good price, clean, comfortable bed, adequate staff and food, very noisy AC unit, lift not working. Just needs some work to smarten up the place.

Husband complained about toilet in the entrance as that was his 1st stop before booking in!!
Walk ways need painting as walls in touch up condition not painted properly or finished. Breakfast was cold off the server and needed reheating

Hotel is easily located off motorway for Stanstead airport. Convenient parking. Reception staff okay but not over friendly. Rooms were okay but nothing special. Had no breakfast as leaving early
