Un hotel "so british" !
Pros:

L'hotel typiquement anglais, ancien mais joliment décoré et propre
L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, et disponible pour des conseils touristiques

Good value and enjoyable stay
Pros:

Location was ideal for visiting family in Trull and watching cricket in Taunton. Only 30mins to get to Exeter which is also great city to visit. Breakfast options were great, and cooked to order. Bathroom very clean

Pros:

Really lovely outside area and quirky style. Welcoming check in.

Cons:

Would like more of a stocked tea and coffee facility. Stingy with the cooked breakfast. Needs more sleeping pillows. One of the members of staff was very condescending

Comfortable stay, good hosts and an excellent breakfast
Pros:

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful during my stay. The hotel is very eclectic, a super lounge area / reading room. The patio is large and a perfect place to sit in the sun and read a book or paper. Rooms were well stoeked with all amenities and very clean too. good location in the village with a Post Offcie and a local shop nearby and its directly across the road from a nice pub. The Full English breakfast was excellent ! also with a good range of cereal / fruit / yoghurts etc. If I am in the area again I will certainly stay there .

Cons:

Nothing it was a very comfortable stay

Good location and breakfast
Pros:

The location was very good. We were to spend the day on the West Somerset Railway which was about a ten minute drive away. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast

Cons:

The bedroom did not meet our expectations, nothing like any of the bedrooms shown on Booking.com website.
Wallpaper peeling on bathroom walls.
The bed was not to our liking (way too soft) but that's a personal preference

Lovely stay, will probably use again if we are in the area.
Pros:

Lovely proper old fashioned hotel. Owner was charming and informative. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are all lovely. Breakfast was great. Great location for exploring the area and for the Steam Train from Bishop's Lydeard. Free parking is always a bonus.

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn't like. Some bits are due a refresh but nothing was annoying or stopped us having a lovely time. The walls are very thick (nothing they can do) so the wifi is slightly tempramental.
