Great small hotel with a good price point.
Pros:

Staff was friendly, location was good - around 8 mins walk to get to the beach.
Hotel was clean overall and beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Cold water pressure was a bit low.

Great Hotel and I’ve already booked to stay again later in the year
Pros:

Good location for nearby pubs and restaurants. Parking on site. The room was very comfortable and clean with tea and coffee facilities. Staff were very welcoming. The price is very good value for money.

Cons:

It was exceptionally hot weather so even with the fan provided and window open it was still warm in the room.

Cons:

Unser Auto wurde n der Nacht ausgeräumt . Hotelpersonal meinte, das käme öfter vor, die Polizei würde aber nichts tun. Das Hotel selbst sollte dringend für mehr Sicherheit sorgen oder zumindest die Gäste explizit darauf hinweisen, wirklich alles mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen und nicht einfach hinnehmen, dass dies immer wieder passiert.

Pros:

Warm welcome and easy check in.
Free and convenient parking was a real bonus.
Clean and comfortable room - there was a heatwave during our stay, the addition of a fan was really appreciated, as were the blackout curtains.
We enjoyed evening drinks in the lovely, child friendly garden.
We are a family of 4 (two sons, both aged 6)
Would re-visit and recommend Applewood.
The closest beach wasn't for us but as previous noted, there was a heatwave and it was a bank holiday weekend, so VERY busy. We used Applewood as a base to explore Brownsea Island and Southmouth - would recommend both for a visit if travelling with young children.

Cons:

No negatives from us but we thought a mini fridge would be a lovely addition to the room.

Lovely place, after exploring Bournemouth I was able to sit in the garden with a cool beer.
Pros:

Made to feel very welcome I arrived too early but was able to book and park my vehicle in the car park. I was given help and directions so that I could then go off and explore Bournemouth. Breakfast was good and served by two delightful children who were learning the ropes.

Nothing.

Lovely family run hotel, beautifully decorated, with friendly staff and close to the beach.
Pros:

Free parking, bunk bed, room design

Cons:

To make it better a wardrobe, a room fridge and air conditioning would make it superb.

I needed a non expensive, single bed for four nights with an ensuite, free wifi and parking. Perfect
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful. It is clean, well cared for and beautifully decorated.
The room was a single room cleverly compact but perfect for my needs.
Free parking was an absolute bonus.

We all loved staying at the Applewood Hotel and have booked to go back again
Pros:

The moment you walk through the door the hotel smells beautiful, it is clean and the receptionist was very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The rooms decor are stylish and give a warm ambience. The large double bed was very comfortable!

Cons:

We would have liked the bar and garden to be accessible beyond 9pm so we could have finished our evening off back at the hotel.
