Miraflores Park, prime cliffside location in Lima: exceptional service, spacious comfortable ocean-view rooms, and outstanding breakfast. They really stand out in hospitality!
A lovely stay at Miraflores Park. The bell valet, front desk, concierge, spa, bar and breakfast staff are all amazing and friendly and go above and beyond constantly. We felt genuinely cared for as their guest. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety. We did not get tired of it during our 4 night stay. The hotel is in a perfect location and easily walkable to many different districts along the path by the water. The 90 minute massages were wonderful!
Our suite was spacious and had a fabulous view of the ocean with several large floor to ceiling windows. The closet is a good size and there were some drawers for clothing. The bathroom is a large space with a soaking tub and nice bath salts.
The reason for 4/5 is that the walls are thin between rooms so you can hear your neighbor and the bathroom is in need of renovation. The toilet is old, the flush mechanism makes strange noises and the toilet is not behind a door so it prevents full use of the bathroom by two people. The pool area is closed for renovation.
Amazing service, food, location, rooms, views.
The location is amazing, right next to the Malecon cliffside walking path/park complex that stretches along the coastline. The room was huge with several windows and an enormous bathroom with very nice amenities. The breakfast was a huge buffet with lots of interesting things and then a full menu of made-to-order items, too. The service was outstanding in both the restaurant and at the front desk. It feels luxurious and welcoming and the location is great.
We have stayed at many top hotels of the world. We feel Miraflower Park is the best.

From the moment we arrived at The Belmont, everything was exceptional. The connection before our stay, the smooth check-in, the unexpected upgrade, and the dinner experience were all first class.
What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we met went above and beyond to make our stay special, and nothing felt like too much trouble.
A special mention to Andrea Porras, our Guest Experience Host, who was fantastic throughout and played a huge part in making our visit so memorable.
A genuinely outstanding experience from start to finish.
As a long-time guest and admirer of Belmond hotels, I chose Miraflores Park, A Belmond Hotel, for my stay in Lima. And I have to say that it was a very warm and positive experience. I received a beautiful room, and although the hotel is currently undergoing renovation, what I appreciated most was the attitude of the entire team and management. They were exceptionally kind, attentive and professional, and I felt that they genuinely understood my expectations and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. I also very much appreciated the way they looked after me when I was not feeling well after a light food poisoning. They treated me with real care, discretion and humanity. Of course, a renovation is never ideal for a hotel guest, but the hotel handled it very gracefully and even offered me a spa visit as a kind gesture, where I enjoyed a very good massage. What stayed with me most was how genuinely nice and caring everyone was. I felt very comfortable there, almost at home, and I would gladly return to Miraflores Park again. I like Belmond very much, and this stay reminded me why.
I reserved several nights in one of this hotel’s premier suites and paid a premium rate because I believed I was booking one of the finest luxury hotels in Peru. Unfortunately, my experience was HORRIBLE!!!!
This was my first visit to Peru. After arriving from an international flight and checking in at approximately 5:00 a.m., exhausted and suffering from jet lag, I completed all required registration procedures. The hotel already had my credit card information on file, had pre-authorized a substantial security deposit, and verified my identity. Nevertheless, staff photocopied and retained a copy of my passport.
Shortly after I settled into my suite, my wife, who had been waiting in the lobby while I checked in, joined me. At approximately 5:20 a.m., hotel security began banging on my door while simultaneously calling the room. I was informed that my wife would have to provide personal information and surrender her passport or government-issued identification for photocopying and verification. I was also told that if she refused, she would be removed from the suite.
My reservation was for two occupants. My wife had not entered into any separate contractual relationship with the hotel, yet security threatened her removal unless she complied with their demands.
What disturbed me most was the complete disregard for privacy. The hotel appeared to believe it was entitled to know the identity of my family members, collect and store their personal information, and condition their presence in my suite on the surrender of that information. I found this intrusive, unnecessary, and entirely inconsistent with the discretion one expects from a luxury property.
A hotel suite is a private accommodation paid for by the guest. Instead of hospitality, I encountered surveillance, intimidation, and an extraordinary intrusion into my personal and family life.
Most disappointing of all, this experience became my introduction to Peru. Rather than leaving with positive memories of Peruvian hospitality, I canceled my stay and left with a negative impression of both the property and the culture. After this experience, I have ZERO desire to return.
We had a wonderful experience at the Belmond. From the beautiful lobby, to the incredibly attentive staff and amazing food to the well appointed rooms - it was all very enjoyable. The location is ideal and it was the perfect start to our trip.
Home away from home.
Great service , excellent stuff.
Very comfortable.
Great breakfast.
Super location.
BEST HOTEL IN LIMA and frankly I think the best location. Some tried to convince me the B Hotel was a better location in Barranco but it was nowhere near the heart of Barranco. The Belmond faces the ocean and is a gem. Amazing service. Buffet breakfast that we rate up there with FS and Park Hyatts in Asia and super warm staff. Beds were to die for. Will definitely be back.
We stayed at Miraflores Park at the beginning of our Peru trip and couldn’t have picked a better place to start.
The location is excellent, the property is beautiful, and the views over the Pacific are incredible, but the standout for us was the service.
A special thank you to Christian from the concierge team. We had a fairly packed itinerary with multiple destinations across Peru, and Christian was incredibly helpful with recommendations, reservations, transportation, and local advice. He always seemed to have an answer and was genuinely interested in making sure our trip went smoothly.
What I appreciated most was that nothing felt forced. He wasn’t just doing his job—he genuinely cared about helping guests have a better experience in Lima.
The entire staff was warm, professional, and welcoming, but Christian deserves special recognition for the difference he made during our stay.
I would happily return and would highly recommend Miraflores Park to anyone visiting Lima.
Went to Lima for vacation with my husband and could not have asked for a better experience. Everything at the Belmond was exquisite from start to finish. The team was attentive, caring, welcoming, and kind. Specifically, the front desk members Eduardo and Mauricio were extremely professional and polite. Also, Estefany at the breakfast took the time to provide the best food recommendations around the town. I would highly recommend staying here as it is worth every penny, you will not be disappointed.
Wonderful luxurious hotel with views over Lima bay, plenty of vista walks at the door steps and not too far from the beach. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we ever had with charming staff to go with it. Edu mixed the best Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas, the food was so fresh with great texture and composition.
Great welcome from Jorge, Pavel and Mayricio, Fiorella got us into a top restaurant at short notice and Stephany Victor, Edu, Antonio and Lindsay spoiled us in the top restaurant.
Amazing location overlooking the ocean and a great way to start the day on the 11th floor breakfast restaurant with stunning views. Service impeccable and room was beautiful. Tragaluz restaurant a wonderful space and dining experience with super informative service. Loved every minute!
Everything about our visit was outstanding—- the staff, the accommodations and view, and the breakfasts. Everyone was helpful and friendly. This was a great base for our first visit to Lima.
The hotel is wonderful...great location...fabulous rooms...warm and friendly staff. Breakfast is a standout and I was lucky to have the kind and thoughtful service of Edu every morning starting the day off perfectly.
Stayed here two nights as part of our National Geographic Lindblad package. Hotel is set by the ocean and has beautiful views! The rooms are huge with luxury amenities and extremely comfortable beds! Staff was helpful and kind. We had breakfast in the Observatory. It was a lovely buffet and the staff was great. We also enjoyed Mother’s Day dinner at Tragaluz. It was phenomenal! Everything was delicious and artfully presented. If you stay here be sure to eat dinner at Tragaluz. The chef should get a Michelin star!
