Great safe sleep!
Pros:

Clean. Well kept. Didn’t see a drop of trash. Front desk staff was amazing and helpful. It was quiet. We felt very safe. The bed slept so dang good! Big clean showers. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again and again.

I’d give it a7.5 because of the aC issue
Pros:

Spacious room and common areas . Clean. Breakfast was pretty good.

Cons:

Air conditioner in our room wasn’t working on the second night of our stay. While it was tolerable for the night it wasn’t great either. Spoke to the front desk in the morning and she had the engineer who was coming in that day to fix it . It was fine the next day.

It was really disappointing. The staff did the best they could.

The first day none of the room keys worked. Housekeeping had to let guests in their rooms.

The ice machine was broken on our floor.

The door to the room was jacked up and difficult to open/close—making an enormous amount of noise.

NO forks for breakfast, day 2.

Pros:

Staff was excellent; efficient, friendly and helpful in regard to dining recommendations in the area. Room was just right; comfortable and clean. Athens, GA is a charming, vibrant area. This hotel was fairly close to downtown and the University.
