Nice spot near Five Points area
Pros:

Loved the location near Five Points. Room was comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. The guy working the breakfast area was absolutely delightful. We were able to find parking on the street so did not have to pay to park in the lot.

Unexpectedly great!!
Pros:

The staff was wonderful including the night security guard!!! Room was great and very clean!

Cons:

Parking! The hotel lot is smaller and only offers minimal street parking. I parked in a no parking zone marked in red on the curb on a corner, and although staff assured me it was ok, I was worried all night about getting towed . Please upgrade your pillows or advise guests to bring their own! They were terrible, but the beds were great!

In the heart of downtown
Pros:

The hotel was what I wanted, not far from the event I was attending, complimentary breakfast, and close to the airport. We checked in and inquired about restaurants and recommendations, but the front desk attendant, LaDarius(spelling), was least helpful. We ventured out on our own and found a few places that are reputable to Birmingham.

Got to see the Civil Rights museum, 17th street church, and the park....all of which we ran out of time to complete. I will be back to see other historical sites in the future!

Scam, beware of false advertising and double check your card statements.
Pros:

Terrible stay. Room was not clean. They will charge twice what is advertised. Will take your money for a reservation but once you arrive will charge again saying the “the full cost of the stay” as advertised is actually only a deposit. No where do they tell you this before you arrive, we double checked the fin print. It’s just a scam to get more money for a crappy room.

Convenient location and friendly staff!
Pros:

Convenient location close to downtown and the freeway. It is also just a mile away from nice Homewood neighborhood with great shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the room had nice extended stay amenities. It is a good pet friendly option! The overall quality of the property could use some updates but I would recommend this hotel in Birmingham!

Needs Cleaning and Refreshing!!

The location is downtown and close to the attractions there.

Cons:

The hotel seems dated, and not as clean as you'd expect. We checked in and I laid across the bed only to end up wet. Urine was soaking the bed and came up into the new sheets... Disgusting. I went to the desk and she got us a new room but said I should've taken pics... The carpets were wet in the hallways. There's not a big main entrance and the parking lot is dark at night. They have a security guard overnight in the parking lot.
