Very disappointing experience. The staff were very impolite and wanted to charge an extra €20 for early check-in even though we arrived only 20 minutes earlier. We also had to provide our names and personal details through an intercom before they would allow us to enter the hotel courtyard, which felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. They also refused to accept a €50 banknote because of a very small defect on one corner, which was unreasonable.

The hotel itself feels old and poorly maintained. The furniture is outdated, the walls were dirty, and both the bathroom and toilet looked old and unclean.

Breakfast was very basic and below expectations. The only positive point is that it starts early at 6:30 AM, which can be convenient for travelers.

Pros:

There was nothing to like at this hotel. The room, carpet, and bathroom was very dirty, I was moved to 3 different rooms, and all of the bathrooms were filthy dirty. In the end, one of them had to be cleaned and disenfted in order not to catch any diseases. There was no compensation in the end. I would not stay there again and would never recommend it.

Good location and accommodation, great value for money
Pros:

We had two rooms on the fifth floor, both had an amazing view of the mountains. They were clean, comfortable, good size rooms. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a typical mix of pastries, cheese, cold meat, yogurt and the freshly squeezed orange juice was great. The location is ideal for public transport links. Rooms serviced daily.
For the very reasonable price paid for the stay, we were all perfectly pleased with the accommodation and would happily stay again.

Very reasonably priced and clean
Pros:

I was a bit concerned having read some of the reviews but my experience was really excellent. The hotel is basic but clean and it’s extremely well situated for Geneva at significantly cheaper than you’d pay to stay more centrally. It is also very close to Annemasse which has excellent restaurants and shops. The staff could not have been more helpful and we had a good-sized room on the 5th floor with wonderful views.

Bon ensemble
Pros:

Chambres confortables malgré le mobilier datant.
L’ensemble est correct, un coup de neuf serait à prévoir. Mais literie confortable, personnel très accueillant, parking sécurisé sur place.

Cons:

Les fenêtres ne sont pas phoniques.
