As always, a very enjoyable stay at the Greyfriars
Pros:

Having stayed here on various occasions, we know how well positioned it is. A few minutes walk to the Old Course and a short walk in the other direction to the town centre.
The weather was very hot while we were there but the hotel had provided two tall fans in our room which was a great touch!

Cons:

The only issue is the parking. However, it didn’t affect us as the carpark next to the hotel was full but we drove through it and along the one way system where we found street parking available.

Had to book for Graduation ceremony. The hotel raise the prices to profit from a captive audience

Overpriced for the quality of the accommodation. Room was very hot and the air conditioning did not work. There was a fan but not effective.

Pros:

We were quite happy with our room. It was very spacious with a good, hot shower. It was a short walking distance to most of the highlights of St. Andrews.

Greyfriars Inn is friendly, good food, close to key locations, good value for money -as usual!
Pros:

Central for bus station and concert venue. Lively atmosphere.

Cons:

No lift to 3rd floor and being in our late 70s, stairs are a challenge for one of us. Also the Belhavens had a curious red liquid over the head.

Good place to stay
Pros:

The location is great and the price is good.

Cons:

The third floor does not have access by elevator so you have to carry heavy stuff up there. The air conditioning was not working so it was really hot!
