Underinvested, old, needs a total refreshment and better staff training
Pros:

Central so it is very convenient to walk around and has its own private parking but it can be full so arrive early.

Cons:

All is wrong: this is a very old 1970-80 type hotel that is sold as a new cool place. It is not. Old everything and yet you are charged as if it is new. Staff is nice but you can imagine…so I would say avoid it like the plague, but in olbia you have few choices and it is full because people have to sleep before / after ferries or flights.

Si nous avions été informés à l’avance, nous ne serions jamais venus, car au vu du prix de la chambre, le rapport qualité-prix est clairement insuffisant. De plus, notre chambre n’a pas été faite malgré notre absence toute la journée.

Pros:

На шестом этаже очень красивая зона с видом на весь город. Хороший номер, замечательный персонал. Очень тихо.

Oda çok büyük ve bol dolap vardı. Resepsiyondakiler çok yardımcı oldular. Roof a çıkıp manzarayı seyretmenizi öneririm. yeri merkeziydi ama otoparkla otel arası biraz uzaktı. Teşekkürler.

Cons:

Makyaj aynası ve kağıt mendil olmayışı eksiğiydi. Ücretsiz su hergün konulabilirdi. Otoparkı ücretliydi. Yalnız önerdikleri restoranları beğenmedik. Çevrede yürüyerek gidilecek pek çok restoran var ve kendiniz seçin derim.

Nice hotel, great location. Feel like could find better value.
Pros:

Friendly staff. We arrived late and they were clearly prepared to welcome visitors arriving on later flights. Nice room. Very central location. Lovely spot in the narrow Olbia streets. Great roof terrace.

Cons:

Parking. It is not the Hotel's fault that the parking is a short walk away and they do send directions before you travel. But...be prepared to not find it, not know what to do and to be thoroughly confused. All fine in the end though!

Unexpected delight!
Pros:

We missed the last train to Cagliari due to a delayed bus and needed to book somewhere in a hurry for 1 night. Normally I would research hotels carefully, but we were in a bit of quandary, so I picked Hotel Panorama off my Google search. What an unexpected gem!

We arrived at check-in 10 minutes after booking, after a taxi trip from the station, but if we had known how close it was to the station, we would have walked, like we did the next day after check-out. It is an easy walk on wide pavements. Please note that the taxi is not allowed to drop you right outside, so you walk a hundred metres or so on some cobblestones. The check-in staff were very friendly, and we had even been upgraded to a room on the 5th floor as we had made a last-minute booking.

The room was very spacious with a lovely view and magnificent bathroom. Even though some of the furnishings were dated, it actually suited the hotel and its setting in the pedestrian area of Olbia. Everything was clean and the wi-fi was very good. We went up to their top floor roof garden just around sunset, and the 360 degree views of the entire town of Olbia were outstanding.

Olbia's pedestrian zone was also an unexpected gem. So many quaint restaurants to choose from and such lovely settings in the narrow maze of roads which came alive after 8pm. We only wish now that we had more time in Olbia.

We had an early breakfast the next morning as we had to catch the train to Cagliari. There was more than enough to choose from at the continental buffet and everything tasted good.

Check-out was easy and we received the €100 security deposit back which we had paid in cash the night before.

I can highly recommend this hotel, and also the old part of Olbia.

Pros:

The location is great, right in the center but calm during the night, at a walking distance from the harbour. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a wonderful view, spacious and comfortable. The staff is kind and attentive. I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it 100%!
