Pros:

Hotel location is within walking distance to our Vietnam office which is very convenient for us.

Cons:

Hotel room is very old, should have the renovation to upgraded it. Breakfast is simple but acceptable

Better than my expectations
Pros:

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was great although shallow but fine to swim and the view was great.
I walked everywhere. The war museum, reunification palace abd water puppet theatre were about 10 mins walk tho on busy roads. I think most people take taxis which are very cheap but I walked into the centre too. There was plenty of choice for Asian breakfast as well as bread fruit etc.

Cons:

I booked a room with a balcony and it would have been nice to have a chair to sit outside but as it was as the hotel is in a very busy corner it was really too loud to sit outside- good for viewing the motorcyclists atvthe junction! Just be careful crossing the roads outside.
Other reviews mentioned it being a bit old in decor but it was fine.

A bit of a letdown
Pros:

Locatie is goedgelegen. Je krijgt een goed beeld van Ho Chi Minh. Verder zijn de kamers op de hogere etages geluidsarm.

Cons:

Best veel: het zwembad was in onderhoud, terwijl dit niet was aangegeven. Dit was voor ons juist de reden om het hotel te boeken.

De kamer rook naar fungus/schimmel, de inrichting was gedateerd, de kitranden absent, of ernstig vervuild. Er was geen normale douchecabine, maar je staat in een glad ligbad te douchen.

Verwacht ook niet dat je kan roken op je speciaal bijgeboekte balkon: dit leidt tot een boete van 30euro/1.000.000vnd

Al met al een tegenvaller voor de relatief hoge prijs (22 euro/660.000vnd)
