Love the location and the breakfast!
Our room had an odor. Air conditioner was barely working. Elevator broke down and had to mostly walk the stairs the last day and a half.
Ocean view
The hotel was very clean, breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. Also, the sunrises from our hotel room were amazing!

Location is great.
Indoor pool looks unclean, tried dipping and i got rashes and itchyness afterwards. Needs maintenance and daily cleaning.
The only good things about it are its beachfront location & their breakfast is very good.
When booking it stated parking included, yet I was charged extra for that… it is already highly overpriced for what you get & the beds are VERY uncomfortable, basically a sheet on a tabletop.
Location and view. Decent breakfast and nice size room. Liked the balcony and ability to sit out and listen to the surf. Accommodating staff, did comp my parking after food in fridge. I do think they should have been willing to comp regardless of the food incident. If a guest asks, accommodate, especially since I’m a Hilton member.
Found good in fridge upon arrival. $20 fee to park per day. I think hiding it in the price would feel less offensive. Pets all over.

Normally I'd start with something like "location" because it is a prime spot on the oceanfront with a few steps to the Ocean walk, bike paths, and beach, but aside from that; I figure I'd spotlight the incredible staff at this establishment. They truly are what exceeded my expectations being a first-time visitor in VA Beach. The room was clean, the facilities and amenities at this hotel were excellent but the staff were exemplary. My room had some "issues" during our stay, but the staff and maintenance were so immediate, professional, and thorough in getting those matters resolved very quickly. Very Very impressed. Special thanks to Celeste and Daneil for making my stay at the hotel and wonderful one.

one of the beds, the fitted sheet didn’t fully cover the bed and the other bed, the comforter was underneath the sheet. the tub was too high and slippery
