De ligging tussen de wijnvelden in het hart van Port streek
Oubollig en deels verouderd; nogal wat “kapot”. Maar de vriendelijke mensen maakten alles goed
De Quinta ligt prachtig in de Douro nabij Pinhao.
Klassieke kamers. Buiten dineren was zalig en de aankleding van de tafels en daarmee gecreëerde sfeer was top👍 wijnen zijn ook echt heerlijk, met name de reservas Personeel doet haar uiterste best het naar de zin te maken!
De badkamer is klassiek, maar ook een klein beetje outdated. Door bijvoorbeeld een inloopdouche te plaatsen ipv een bad krijg je meer ruimte en wordt het moderner

The food was excellent, particularly the exceptional home-cooked cod pie—I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it twice during our three-night stay.
The wine tasting gave us a genuine behind-the-scenes insight into the passion and dedication of Beatrice’s family and their winemaking. Service was occasionally a little slow, but it was always warm, personal and extremely friendly.
We experienced some problems with the air conditioning, but the team were incredibly helpful and worked hard to find a solution for us. We also used the pool every day, and the view from the poolside must be one of the most beautiful I have ever experienced.
Our fellow guests were such an interesting and friendly group of people, which really enriched the whole experience. The views from the quinta are simply unbelievable, and the setting is extraordinarily beautiful and peaceful. The quinta has an intimate atmosphere and a wonderful modern rustic charm, making it feel both welcoming and beautifully connected to its surroundings.

An extra staff member could help lighten the load somewhat for the existing team that work very hard, but remain very attentive, as time permits.

Rui , Beatriz e Valentina nos receberam muito bem ! Ao entrar na propriedade somos convidados a desacelerar e aproveitar a estadia com mais presença ! Comida e vinhos deliciosos ! Certamente um convite para a reconexão interior .

The view of the vineyard from our room was absolutely magical and tranquil. The estate is spacious allowing for quiet walks around the property, garden or laying out by their pool. The room surprisingly had a kettle and a mini fridge which was helpful after travelling to the area from another short term rental. The staff and owner were friendly and the dinners were exceptional made by the chef, esp the salmon and sea bass dishes!! We ended up staying an extra night because it was so peaceful and beautiful.
The only shortfall was the Internet was non existent around the property and where our room was located (only available in the front lobby). However we were notified the hotel was aware of this issue and working on a solution.
Otherwise we had a slightly broken toilet seat cover (one side not bolted down). Lastly a few more hot breakfast options would have been great for non European travellers. We stayed at another hotel during our Portugal road trip and their complimentary continental breakfast included eggs and bacon and sausages. Having these options would be great as I didn't feel there was enough protein options for a hearty breakfast.
