Fantastic management, location and facilities. Would stay again
Pros:

The apartments all have different owners so this review is just for Apartment 12. It was a good size for 2 people and had plenty of storage for clothes. There was a washer and dryer in the bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. There was a fantastic balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was a good size, not huge but big enough and it gets the morning/early afternoon sun. The location was excellent, a couple of minutes walk to the beach and to the beginning of MacCrossan St. The managers were very friendly and super helpful. We were able to store our luggage on the last day and they organised our transport back to Cairns.

Cons:

Apartment 12 was tired. The louvre windows were rusted and the floor needs retiling. The settings on the oven had worn off so we had to guess where to turn the knobs for the oven and temperature settings.
The fan in the bathroom wasn’t working, or if it was it was it was so ineffective we couldn’t tell.
A minor point but the coffee plunger wasn’t very good - it let too many coffee grounds through.
Note - photo of lounge area says AI generated but it is a true photo. I just used AI to erase my husband from the photo!

A great spot to enjoy Port Douglas from!
Pros:

Fabulous location. Nice roomy apartment. Super clean.

Cons:

The pool was a bit small so hard to share with the families (but I’m aware that’s a very small problem), the rest of our stay was excellent.

An excellent stay and I would definitely stay here again

Location was excellent; apartment was spacious and had everything we needed; place provided extra little things such as beach towels and laundry detergent which was great; staff were very friendly and helpful

Perfect place to stay
Pros:

Garrick House is in a quiet road near to 4 mile beach. An easy walk to the main street where you will find restaurant's and shops. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a large balcony with loungers, chairs and a table and chairs. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well furnished and housekeeping was very good. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Cindy and Andrew were brilliant hosts and always available if you needed them

Cons:

Nothing we had a lovely relaxing stay in this perfect place.

A friendly relaxed holiday
Pros:

A fantastic location and such friendly managers. Great proximity to the Main Street and the beach.

Cons:

The midway room refresh was done late to avoid the weekend which was not ideal. Also the room could do with a vacuum cleaner as it gets so dirty and sweeping every day is not great when on holiday.
