Location in heart of Port Douglas was excellent, comfortable bed, large apartment and jacuzzi on balcony. Quiet.

Cons:

The place is tired and dated. Lots of stairs.

Kim at the front desk was lovely.

Welcoming staff on arrival. Very friendly.
Clean room and very spacious with lovely balcony.

Cons:

The bathroom roof collapsed with water leak into bathroom literally in middle of night.
Obviously not their fault but When we notified the staff in morning there was no real apology or offer to make up for it.
We asked for a slightly later check out that day as leaving (45 min-1 hr) & just wanted a a bit of sleep as awake sorting out water leak in night and but initially told we had “plenty of time. “ however this was then agreed to.

Lovely clean room, huge comfy bed, spa bath with a view, hotel had a great holiday vibe. Managers were very pleasant.

Great place to stay
Pros:

Great spot, always clean etc. Great value for money being right on macrossen Street. Service great,.very friendly staff.

Cons:

The only downside for anyone is that there are stairs only, not lift. Whilst it didnt fuss us, its just something to be aware of.

Welcoming staff, fabulous location, great facilities, comfortable bed, very clean, nice pool with plenty of lounges and a communal BBQ! overall a great hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

Good place to stay.
Cons:

The shower over the bath was unpleasant. Privacy from outside and also having to shower in the bath in front of the bathroom mirror. Slightly mobility issues would prevent you from staying in thuu it a room.
