The Regal is well located and the rooms are very clean.
Pros:

The location of the Regal is excellent being just off the Main Street. The hosts were helpful and friendly in providing assistance when required. The room was clean and the air con efficient.

Cons:

It is a challenge for anyone who is not fit to carry suitcases as there is no lift. Also in our room the shower being over the jacuzzi meant a degree of flexibility in the limbs was needed to climb under the shower.

Great location - great holiday
Pros:

Great location because you can walk everywhere in Port Douglas.
Our room was a bit on the small side but we only booked a studio, so fair enough. Next time we'd book a bigger room with kitchen facilities.

We’ve been going to Port Douglas every year for the last 10 years but this was the best place we’ve ever stayed in.
Pros:

Customer service is like no other we have ever experienced. Kim was so helpful and when I injured myself, the gentleman in the office found a walking stick for me. Everyone seems to go above and beyond to help guests. Even the cleaners are cheery and helpful.

Cons:

No criticism at all. Everything was top notch.

Location in heart of Port Douglas was excellent, comfortable bed, large apartment and jacuzzi on balcony. Quiet.

Cons:

The place is tired and dated. Lots of stairs.

Kim at the front desk was lovely.

Location was great.
Welcoming staff on arrival. Very friendly.
Clean room and very spacious with lovely balcony.

Cons:

The bathroom roof collapsed with water leak into bathroom literally in middle of night.
Obviously not their fault but When we notified the staff in morning there was no real apology or offer to make up for it.
We asked for a slightly later check out that day as leaving (45 min-1 hr) & just wanted a a bit of sleep as awake sorting out water leak in night and but initially told we had “plenty of time. “ however this was then agreed to.

Great place to stay
Pros:

Great spot, always clean etc. Great value for money being right on macrossen Street. Service great,.very friendly staff.

Cons:

The only downside for anyone is that there are stairs only, not lift. Whilst it didnt fuss us, its just something to be aware of.
