Reasonable accommodation for the price.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful, grounds were good, had air conditioning and free on-site parking.

Cons:

Very cold at night - only one very thin blanket, not much thicker than a sheet and air conditioning was not reverse cycle. The floors were filthy, particularly in the bathroom, it was tired and everything needed a good clean.

It was ok, but you need to supervise the pool area, rule out poor guest behaviour and address cleaning issues.

Cleanliness, other guests behaving inappropriately around the pool area (swearing on front of young children, loud phone conversations on speaker, throwing balls hard across the pool which made it uncomfortable for younger children). The cleaning was poor - dishes needed to be rewatched before use as they were dirty, knife and forks drawer needed cleaning.

Pros:

We booked a 2 bedroom unit and a studio unit, and the set up became like a 3 bedroom unit which worked really well for our family group.
Strolling distance to restaurants shops and beach, or $7 on the shuttle. Need a car for other trips.

Cons:

A random selection of kitchenware in both of the units. We stayed 4 nights, suggest providing another tea towel and more dishwasher powder.
Bathroom in studio room was small and pokey.

Pros:

Parkeerplaats voor de deur, op wandelafstand van het centrum, rustig gelegen.

Cons:

De kamers zijn een beetje verouderd, je kan dat niet goed zien op de foto's en wij hadden verwacht dat het nieuwer was. Daardoor vind ik dat de prijs wat te hoog is voor wat je krijgt. Check-in verliep een beetje stroef omdat we tegen 6 pm aankwamen en de openingsuren van de receptie (8.30 am - 5pm) niet overeenkwam met de snorkeltour die we geboekt hadden voor de volgende dag.

Pros:

Comfortable bed. Good location. Laundry free was a bonus.

Cons:

Only surface clean. Fan filthy, floor needed a scrub. Pool noise intrusive as was smoke from other balconies . Freezer compartment so iced up you could not get anything in it. Generally felt a little tired.

We wouldn't comeback and stay again
Pros:

The pool was nice and it was an easy walk to the patrolled beach and town

Cons:

The room wasn't clean, we stayed for a week and only had room serviced once. They supplied limited toilet paper and washing powder. The TV wasn't smart so we couldn't connect to any streaming services. The stove was hard to use as all marking had worn off and Microwave was damaged.

A reasonably priced stay in a comfortable and handy location.
Pros:

Bay villas are modern apartments in a handy location about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Port Douglas. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to open the balcony door and lock the flyscreen fr air overnight rather than have to use the air conditioning.

Cons:

A little closer to town would have been nice but it was probably good for us to walk a little mre than we might normally have done. If it was hotter we might have fond the walk overous.
