Perfect place to stay for a short family getaway with Sovereign Hill and all other family activities
Pros:

We loved the location for a family stay with a visit to Sovereign Hill. The room was perfect for a short stay with family. The games room was also an excellent addition for when wet weather hits with kids.

Cons:

The TV was old, but still worked well. Mainly it just would have been nice to have breakfast options available.
We loved everything else.

Well maintained. Good location. Staff friendly. Single rooms looked a lot nicer.

Cons:

We had a family room. The bunks squeaked every time anyone moved, the mattresses hadn’t been changed since the 90s and the pillows super thin. The single rooms looked and felt a lot nicer.

The cookies in the room and drinking chocolate was a nice touch! Would come here again if we needed to travel into ballerat. The fairy lights around the buildings was a lovely touch

Pros:

Staff were friendly. The radiators in the room were amazing. Felt like home.

Clean and comfortable rooms in a good location
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The plumbing from the room above us was noisy, and the banging of doors and talking loudly in the corridor by other guests was loud, however it was quiet overnight, so not a big issue for us.
