The location and cleanliness of the room.

Cons:

On arrival, elevators were not clean.
We were missing towels in the bathroom.
We tried to take a nap after a 6-hour drive, but the various loud noises would not allow such rest. The AC unit in the room is unbelievably noisy, even when it’s just the fan working without the compressor. The elevator shaft was right behind our room walls, so every time an elevator passes by our floor a loud jet-like noise filled the room, barely allowing any sleep even at night. When we complained, the reception’s easy fix was to move us to another room but only to change the kind of noise, as the room we were offered was facing the street on the 3rd floor, warning us that there will probably be street noise. Moreover, rooms are tiny and it’s a terrible value for money

Really nice New York City hotel located between Central Times Square and Midtown.
Pros:

Most New York City hotels are very small however, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised that these rooms were relatively spacious. We love the fact it had a desk and a nice sized bathroom for a New York City hotel. This hotel is very clean and very comfortable. My only gripe is that the window treatments allow city light to come into the room which interfered with my ability to fall asleep.

A particular note was the amazing staff. Olivia and Nicole at the front desk were absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating.

affordable place at a convenient location
Pros:

The hotel locates at very convenient location, closer to several metro lines. It's also not that expensive comparing to other places. We did not get the breakfast option but there are many famous bagel places close by. There is tasty peach ice tea every time we went back to the hotel!

Attenzione ai pagamenti in struttura!! Avevamo scelto l’opzione di pagamento in struttura e chiesto di dividere la spesa a metà: io ho pagato con una carta prepagata, mentre l’altra persona con me con una carta di debito. La quota pagata con la carta di debito è stata addebitata una prima volta il giorno dell’arrivo e una seconda volta tra la seconda e la terza notte. Abbiamo segnalato immediatamente l’accaduto, ma non hanno saputo spiegarci come fosse stato possibile. Ci hanno rassicurato che il rimborso sarebbe arrivato ma non erano in gradi di darti delle indicazioni sul quando. Il rimborso della somma duplicata è arrivato soltanto due settimane dopo il nostro rientro in Italia. Solo dopo l’accaduto abbiamo notato altre recensioni che segnalavano lo stesso problema. Esperienza decisamente spiacevole.
