Chambres proches du bar et musique jusqu'à tard dans la nuit. Ce que l'on attend d'un hébergeement, c'est d'abord de pouvoir y trouver un peu de repos. Raté pour cette fois.

No aircon in top loft bedroom but fan was provided . Also no bbq utensils to cook with

Das Hostel ist ziemlich abgenutzt und lieblos geführt. Es wird zwar jeden Tag geputzt, die Küüche sah trotzdem jeden Abend übel aus. Es gibt keinw gute Austattung in der Küche, alles zusammengewürfelt. Vor allem gibt es nich genug Toiletten - jedes Mehrbettzimmer hat ein Bad und wenn das besetzt ist gibt es nur die Bar als Ausweichmöglichkeit, und die öffnet erst um 11 und schliesst um 21.00. Für das was man bekommt ist es übeteuert.

The mixed dorm room was horrible. I was the only female put in with 5 drunk males. I ended up sleeping in my car until a private room was available.

Backpacker accommodation is much much too basic. I get that they describe themselves as ‘laid- back’ but id say this is even less than that. No lockable storage in rooms. Minimal power points for the number of beds. The communal kitchen has no fridge? Fridge is locked and only for tours. Hard to cook in the kitchen, lots of gas hobs don’t work and lack of obvious kitchen utensils made cooking difficult.
Also - and this is more for anyone reading this - the price per bed is more expensive on booking.com so it’s probably better to book direct.

Some of the linen was stained. Towel rail in bathroom kept falling apart.

Late night music going on beyond 2am

Venue generally needed some TLC however our room was okay.

Bunk beds not the most comfortable mattress iv ever slept on, could have done with a warmer blanket.

No where to hang wet towels or beach clothes inside or outside the room so it was often the “hunger games” with your room neighbours of trying to get rail real estate outside your room to hang your wet clothes. A clothes horse for inside the room would be ideal.
In room TV didn’t work. Though i do understand the cyclone had been through town a while ago and i am grateful that the place was up and running ….other TVs on the same floor were working and it’s a major thing not to have when there for 5 days especially with the World Cup on and sports especially in a beach holiday. It should have been mentioned at checking in and not for me to try and figure out over two to three days when it must have been mentioned by other guests. Not trying to be ungrateful but transparency about what is NOT working in the room at the get go should have been the starting point. Everyone understands but some people not even know about the cyclone.
Staff at reception very friendly.

Probably the worst place I have ever stayed at. I don’t even know how it’s running, some serious OH&S concerns.

No wifi in the rooms, only in the common areas - of which half were shut at the pool area was closed for repairs. The TV in the rooms didn’t work most of the time, and when they did it was only for half the time. Only 2 or 3 regional channels, no smart TV options etc.
