Average stay around Cabot Circus
Pros:

Hotel was good located, walking distance from train station (15min) from center and Stokes croft. I bit further away though if you want to hang out around clifton.

Cons:

The hotel would have been great 20 years ago, but its design is a bit dated now. The room could definitely use a makeover. Size of the room was good and still comfortable, only the furnitures are a bit old.

Cons:

The location outside the hotel was disgusting... Nothing to do with the hotel - but walking from the car park to the hotel meant walking past people passed out on the floor

Great value for money in a major city
Pros:

Easy checkin, convenient free parking in carpark next door. Basic setup, but everything needed for a quick stopover.
Huge King bed, very comfy. Large shower area. Didn't try breakfast, but it was available downstairs.

Cons:

Noisy neighbours. Kettle hard to fill from sink tap.

Excellent value for money when visiting central Bristol.
Pros:

Room was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Plenty to choose from and additional items such as pancakes and poached eggs could be ordered.

Cons:

The purpose of this visit was to attend a concert at the Bristol Beacon. The hotel was about 20 minutes walk, which was fine but at night it felt a bit unsafe walking through Cabot Circus shopping mall. Should have taken a taxi back or walked along the main road. The hotel itself was excellent.

Only stayed for two nights. Very comfortable beds. Marvellous staff and waiters.
Pros:

In an ideal place in central Bristol. Carpark at the back.

Cons:

No independent switch for the bedside lights. You had to get out of bed to turn off the lights and were then in a dark room.

Exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away.
Pros:

This is our second stay here and its a perfect location. The rooms are functional and clean, the staff have always been lovely. The free parking is an added bonus.

Cons:

The toilet roll was very thin which ment you had to dispense loads to be of any use. Its false economy just buy quality. 2 plug scokets didnt work, the towels could do with an update and a shower cap would have been handy, but these are just small comme to. I'd come back again for sure.
