I liked the quiet, clean, room, the staff was extremely helpful and kind. I will come back to the Indigo
NA
Our first room both mine and my sisters room had mold all in the bathroom. I brought it up to the hotel staff they moved us to another room which also had mold in the bathroom and the air conditioning was not working.
Asked for a refund only was able to get our amenities back.
Let me mind you, I am also 6 months pregnant.
Tried to get ahold of the managers and they still have not called me back.
Horrible experience, very unprofessional. Will NOT be coming back.
I wanted to specifically highlight Gabriel at the front desk for providing superior service during our visit. He was professional, courteous, and remarkably helpful, addressing all of our requests quickly and effortlessly. His dedication to guest satisfaction made a memorable impression, and he deserves high recognition for his exceptional work.
We had such a wonderful experience at Hotel Indigo San Diego. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and in a great location, but what really made our stay memorable was the incredible hospitality.
A very special thank you to Gabriel, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He was extremely kind, professional, attentive, and accommodating. You can really tell when someone genuinely cares about their guests, and Gabriel made us feel valued rather than simply being hotel customers. His personal attention and willingness to help made a huge difference in our experience.
Excellent service like this is what turns a good hotel stay into an unforgettable one. Hotel Indigo is very fortunate to have a manager like Gabriel representing the property.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely choose Hotel Indigo San Diego again whenever we’re back in the city. Highly recommended — and thank you again, Gabriel, for taking such great care of us!
Great experience. Always comfortable. Close to everything. Staff is great, especially Gabriel, he was very helpful.
Hotel was beautiful rooms were clean.
AC did NOT work it was 89 degrees in my roomsnd was very uncomfortable to sleep. Didn’t get it fixed till 2:30 pm the next day.
The location was great since it was right by Petco Park. We were able to walk to the concert venue.
When we arrived for check in on Sunday at 4 pm. There were no rooms available. We had to wait an hour. We were also told there was no food service at the restaurant, only drinks. We left since the room wasn't ready to go eat somewhere while we wait. Came back, then we were told there was food at the restaurant. Very frustrating but the staff was great through it all.
Hotel Indigo San Diego Downtown is a great choice if you’re in town for a Padres game or attending a conference at the Convention Center. The location is excellent and makes getting around downtown very easy.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The gym is adequate and has what you need for a basic workout.
The rooftop restaurant and bar is a nice feature with a great atmosphere, but personally, I would much rather have a rooftop pool. The lack of a pool is probably the biggest downside of the hotel.
Overall, a very clean, comfortable hotel with an excellent downtown location and wonderful staff. I’d definitely recommend it, particularly for a ball game or convention.
We really enjoyed the stadium view from our room and from the rooftop bar. Felix made us feel welcome and served up delicious cocktails.
Location was terrific. We could walk to the ballpark and Gaslamp areas. Rooftop bar had a great view. Fish tacos were very good.
They charge you an amenities fee of 34.00 per night but only allow 15.00 credit each day. Rooftop bar ran out of CO2 so no draft beer, wouldn't substitute bottles. Had to pay full price for "happy hour". Ad for happy hour cocktails not current so also had to pay full price.
No self parking available and valet is 70.00 per night.
No pool
The staff was great, the room was clean and beds comfortable. The food at both restaurants was very good and reasonably priced. I’d definitely stay again.
Great staff, very clean, affordable, perfect fun downtown atmosphere walking area. You can see Petco Park (Padres) from the rooftop bar of hotel!
Gabriel gave us excellent customer service when we checked in. The last time we stayed here we weren’t too happy with our rooms view. Gabriel made sure we got a better view this time around. Big thank you to Gabriel, keep up the great work!!
I have a credit on one of my cards, and IHG has this property in San Diego Gaslamp: I decided to book a weekend staycay here.
Positives: Location in the Gaslamp.
Negatives: No dedicated checkin line for higher status members; We left for most of the day on Sat. There were some maintenance items that I communicated to the front desk before we left. Those items were not fixed when we returned; No pool - LAME!!!!! Valet is $70/night; Only two elevators for a hotel w/ 12 floors; Small gym.
Being a Platinum IHG member is a downgrade from the same status at Marriott, Hyatt & Hilton. I really don't notice the difference between a normal membership and IHG Platinum status;
Needless to say, I will not being using my card credit to stay here in the future. Next time I'll book a stay at a Montage hotel closer to home in OC in Laguna Beach. I always get disappointed when I stay at IHG hotels. Disappointments are the reason I canceled my co-branded credit card, and Ambassador status (higher vs Platinum) last year. IHG is last on my list when it comes to hotels.
Gabriel deserves Employee of the Year! He was always so helpful and accommodating!
Great service at desk, friendly. Bar with live music.
