Pros:

The room was fine, very comfortable. Beds were good. The rooftop bar was really a nice feature. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The ice machines are only on even numbered floors, but the closest one to my floor (11) on floor 10, was inoperable. So, had to go down to floor 8. The main thing I did not like was that after I had booked the room, I was alerted by email about an "amenity fee" of $40. It did include a credit for food and beverage, but still was an unwelcome surprise that should have been disclosed in the information about the total cost of booking the room.

I really liked this hotel if I could book here again one day I definitely would
Pros:

I liked how it was in close proximity to the stadium and it was funny watching the streets, crowded with people, leaving the stadium when I got back to my room

Cons:

The AC could’ve been facing the bed and it could’ve been more powerful and the floors could’ve been mopped and vacuumed a bit more

MOLD! Horrible customer service.
Pros:

Our first room both mine and my sisters room had mold all in the bathroom. I brought it up to the hotel staff they moved us to another room which also had mold in the bathroom and the air conditioning was not working.
Asked for a refund only was able to get our amenities back.
Let me mind you, I am also 6 months pregnant.
Tried to get ahold of the managers and they still have not called me back.

Horrible experience, very unprofessional. Will NOT be coming back.

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Indigo San Diego
Pros:

We had such a wonderful experience at Hotel Indigo San Diego. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and in a great location, but what really made our stay memorable was the incredible hospitality.

A very special thank you to Gabriel, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He was extremely kind, professional, attentive, and accommodating. You can really tell when someone genuinely cares about their guests, and Gabriel made us feel valued rather than simply being hotel customers. His personal attention and willingness to help made a huge difference in our experience.

Excellent service like this is what turns a good hotel stay into an unforgettable one. Hotel Indigo is very fortunate to have a manager like Gabriel representing the property.

We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely choose Hotel Indigo San Diego again whenever we’re back in the city. Highly recommended — and thank you again, Gabriel, for taking such great care of us!

Great location
Pros:

The location was great since it was right by Petco Park. We were able to walk to the concert venue.

Cons:

When we arrived for check in on Sunday at 4 pm. There were no rooms available. We had to wait an hour. We were also told there was no food service at the restaurant, only drinks. We left since the room wasn't ready to go eat somewhere while we wait. Came back, then we were told there was food at the restaurant. Very frustrating but the staff was great through it all.

Paid a lot for a hot room
Pros:

Hotel was beautiful rooms were clean.

Cons:

AC did NOT work it was 89 degrees in my roomsnd was very uncomfortable to sleep. Didn’t get it fixed till 2:30 pm the next day.

Great business hotel
Pros:

Hotel Indigo San Diego Downtown is a great choice if you’re in town for a Padres game or attending a conference at the Convention Center. The location is excellent and makes getting around downtown very easy.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The gym is adequate and has what you need for a basic workout.

The rooftop restaurant and bar is a nice feature with a great atmosphere, but personally, I would much rather have a rooftop pool. The lack of a pool is probably the biggest downside of the hotel.

Overall, a very clean, comfortable hotel with an excellent downtown location and wonderful staff. I’d definitely recommend it, particularly for a ball game or convention.
