The location is perfect: close to the opera, the central station and the Munch museum while it is quiet in the night (except the night of the National Day celebrations….). The breakfast is great: an impressive variety and good coffee from the machine in the lobby! Staff is very welcoming.
It is really a nice hotel with an interesting history!

Room is too small and does not have a desk or counter to put personal things
Hotel reservation included dinner. Sole reason I booked this hotel.
Coffee machine downstairs. Horrible. Weak coffee, tepid and haven’t a clue what they use for milk. Colored warm water. Snack is a joke. 2x2 piece of cake between 3-5. Coffee (better here), hot tea or water is available. That’s it. 2nd night arrived bout 3:30 short staffed apparently and cake gone and dishes stacked on service cart. Dinner..tight space. Buffet. Options adequate and still coffee, tea or water. No dessert other than pay for dessert offered in menu. Gal in dining room asked us to leave and go downstairs when we were drinking our coffee after the meal. Said more guests were coming and she needed the space. What?? And indeed the space is way too small for what they need. Breakfast was better. Larger room, lots of selections and coffee (drip) was as it should be. Our room: dark. Not enough light and small. Hotel is old and needs a renovation.
I booked the hotel because although I paid more, it included dinner (you do pay for that as their nightly rate is higher) but I didn’t want to deal with having to run around for a meal in the evening.
Other than the gal in the dinner room who asked us to leave, all employees were very nice.
We stayed 4 people (my wife and my 2 sons), in the room there was 2 seperate rooms, 2 bathrooms and a teracce with city view, it was fantastic. Receptionists were so kind, speak fluent english and gave detailed answers to our questions. And breakfast was amazing, there was a wide variety of foods, especially smoked and gravlax salmon were too delicious. The hotel is in a theather passage, its location is great, a few minutes walk to train station. Thanks for everything.

Location near station and parade. Staff were super friendly. Free fica was a lovely touch
Bedroom smelled of drains
Great location in a central position (close to Oslo S which is perfect when you get to the city or leave), a few minutes of walking from the Sentrum area. Quiet room, awesome breakfast (both salty and sweet with lots of variety - loved the several types of yogurt).

Cleaningness
Location was great. Breakfast was very good. The location was surprisingly quiet.
The smaller bathroom lacked hooks or shelving. Dinner in the lounge was far too crowded. The quality of food at dinner was a let-down compared to breakfast.
Das enthaltene Frühstück und Abendessen waren toll, gute und frische Auswahl. Das Zimmer war ok, bloss leider sehr weit von Lift. Das Personal war super, v.a. die unheimlich nette Nachtschicht!
Die Reinigung könnte öfter sein und aktiv angeboten werden (es gab kein Schild für an die Türe).
Sehr freundliches Personal, ein reichhaltiges und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, Hotel in perfekter Lage
The staff were all lovely. The location was very good. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.
The dinner each evening was very disappointing.

Затишно, колоритно, чисто, дуже оригінально і смачний сніданок, скандинавські смаколики були присутні. Надзвичайно позитивні враження. У холі на рецепціі можна робити чай, каву цілий день. Вечеря теж класна! Дякуємо персоналу
