Front desk reception was not equipped or up to the job.
Pros:

I liked the size of the room. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Our rooms were not ready at check in time nor were we given rooms next or even close to each other. They tried to put us on two different floors which defeated the purpose. We had to go with just room which ended up being a handicap room. They put the payment on the wrong card and even had my address wrong on my receipt. The person at the desk got so much wrong but she was really nice and respectful.

It smells like mold.
Pros:

The presentation was fine. The room was clean for the most part.

Cons:

Upon entering the hotel you are overwhelmed with the smell of mold and/or evidence of water intrusion. The hotel, the room, in the bathroom, I had to reach behind the night stand...all of which smells like mold. I drove 10hrs so by the time I arrived which was after 12a, I had to rest after the drive. I didn't make a stink of it because I had paid for the room upfront. I won't be staying here in the future should I come back to Slidell.

Pros:

The receptionist Shaun set the tone for the wonderful stay with her smile and graciousness! Check in was a smooth process even with the property being busy! Great accommodations and location!
