Beautiful decor. Spacious room for Florence. Excellent location near the Duomo but on a quiet side street. Friendly, professional staff. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.
I wish the hotel had a fitness room.
Établissement parfaitement situé dans le quartier des boutiques de luxe à quelques minutes à pieds de la gare de Florence et des principaux monuments historiques, plusieurs trattoria à proximité ainsi que des restaurants plus branchés
Le personnel était tes agréable, aux petits soins, ne pas hésiter à demander si vous avez besoin de quelque chose (emprunter le steamer de l’accueil)
Peu de choses, juste histoire de donner une réponse
La décoration des chambres, malgré leur confort, reste un tout petit peu « datée », l’hôtel serait encore plus agréable si les chambres étaient refaites dans le même style (plus moderne) que l’espace petit déjeuner.
Autre défaut, le tarif du spa (75€ pour une heure pour une chambre), nous avons préféré ne pas l’utiliser, il aurait agréable qu’une séance puisse être proposée à un tarifs moins élevé
What a wonderful time. The room was immaculate and spectacular. The staff was friendly and attentive from check-in to checkout. The breakfast was fabulous. You can’t beat the location. You can walk to all of the major attractions in Florence. I highly recommend them.
To begin with, the kindness and warm welcome that was provided by hotel manager Daniele gave my wife and me assurance that this stay would be truly special. Further staff accommodation and support that were given by Khouloud, Mahmoud and Simo proceeded to be outstanding in the kindness that one would expect as though being treated as family. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking around the center of the city and reaching the desired sites of interest. All in all, this was a most delightful experience and I definitely recommend staying at The Golden Tower!
Centrally located, excellent facilities and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating
I chose Golden tower based on reviews from Trip Advisor. I spent 50 years in the hospitality industry . I was not disappointed. From the moment we entered the hotel to check in each person we encountered was nicer than the next.
We were family of 11 guests .On arrival they guided us to the lounge for complimentary cookies and cappuccino. ( I will dream about the little cookies in powdered sugar. ) Matt then came to join us with hotel folders and gave us information on the hotel and area.
The rooms were spotless and comfortable.
The free breakfast was great. Know you can order omelets and other items if you do not see what you want on the buffet.
I was in the Strozzi tower and the room and bathroom were large and spacious with a window that opened to the outside.
We could walk to everything the location was fantastic.
We ranged in age from 18 to 72 everyone was happy with the hotel and location .This can sometimes be a challenge with 11 people with different mobility levels.

The hotel is lovely, and in a great location. The room was perfect, as was the breakfast. However, the thing that shone the most was the staff - they were all so pleasant and respectful, and couldn't do enough to help - organising meals and giving advice on what to do. I cannot praise the staff highly enough!

Perfect location for all of Florence. The room was beautiful and the service was OVER THE TOP! The front desk was welcoming and so accommodating. We will definitely book a stay there again. Oh, and the bar and breakfast was wonderful. They will make you anything you want! Perfecto!

Nothing it was perfect
This is a top tier hotel. From the beauty to the service to the amenities, this hotel was a 10 on every aspect. We would absolutely stay here again. The breakfast was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. Our room was luxurious and the bed was extremely comfortable. I was sad to leave but would highly recommend this hotel!
Nothing less than 5 stars. Great location, walk to the Train Station, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Uffizi all within 10 to 15 minutes. The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Without a doubt we know where we will stay on our next trip to Florence.
The Golden Tower Hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Florence. It is centrally located and within walking distance to the Duomo, the Baptistry, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi. There are so many excellent restaurants nearby in addition to numerous shops. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating and welcoming. We would like to acknowledge Amanda, Chiara and Maria Chiara at the front desk and Mahmud who worked at the lobby bar and helped out at breakfast. We would not hesitate to return to this charming hotel!
We just finished a tour of Greece and Italy. We stayed at all 5 star hotels. I was a bit nervous about this one because it cost considerably less than others. It turned out to be our favorite hotel. The location is perfect, right in the center of things. The hotel and rooms are charming. The service level is incredible. By far the most attentive and friendly service we experienced on the trip. Highly recommend.
