Don’t expect to get back left items
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel at the end of June. I ended up leaving a pricey watch in the room, unfortunately did not have time to pick it up before I left the area. I called the hotel to confirm they had my watch (it was in the room and the employee assisting me confirmed they found it in the room and placed in lost and found). This is in June 2026, I reached out, they made me purchase a $40 shipping label from iLeftMyStuff.com. They tried to pick up the watch and apparently the hotel said it wasn’t available for pickup (In July of 2026) Now, August 2026, I have reached out maybe 10 times since the failed pickup, I still have no watch and no word of where it could be. It has been a very unfortunate set of circumstances but I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, very comfortable rooms, the bed was amazingly comfortable.
The breakfast was awesome, We highly recommend this hotel, incredible value too

Not your normal Hyatt experience !
Pros:

Too pricey for the service. Breakfast was lukewarm, paper thin bacan etc. Dumped it and went to the airport for real food. Charge for parking ?
Air conditioner less than a foot from the bed. Needs plugs near the beds
One open plug, no USB etc.

The only hotel I stay at when in Reno!
Pros:

I love this hotel! Perfect if you have a flight out of Reno as they have a free shuttle free breakfast. The staff is fantastic, this time Briana went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and you don't hear any airplane noise. I stay here usually to go gambling and Grand Sierra resort is a 5 minute drive (or 20 minute walk) from the hotel. The hotel gym is decent sized and has the basics you'd need to get your workout in. This is my go to place to stay in Reno and I don't plan on changing anytime soon. After spending an unhealthy amount of time at a casino it's always nice to come back to a hotel that doesn't smell like cigarettes :-)

Nice hotel with great staff
Pros:

Excellent employees. Front desk staff and shuttle drive all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms need a major refresh. They were clean, but seemed a little beat up and carpet needs to be replaced.

Not up to the Hyatt standard
Pros:

The hotel was not bad, other than the A/C in my room was in very poor condition. Also, I was first sent to an occupied room which my key did unlock, so I opened the door to find an unmade bed, personal items lying around and the TV was on. I did not, however encounter the occupants as I quickly closed the door and returned to the front desk. All of this and more, but I was still charged the full $583.95 for a one-night stay. Never again...

I wouldn’t stay here again.
Pros:

We had plenty of space in our room.

Cons:

1. You had to pay for parking. We were told that when we checked in. I would have stayed somewhere else had I known.

2. Terrible location. We saw a lot of homeless people in the area of the hotel along with gang activity in the parking lot.

Radical room cost variance
Pros:

My wife and I have stayed at the Reno Tahoe Airport several times and the cost of the same room is all over the place. My wife stayed for $135.00 at one point. I had to book a room due to a delayed flight and they charged $298.00 for the same room! I would like to know what dictates their pricing?

Old and dirty charge extra for parking and $100 pet fee under the beds haven't been cleaned in years and the fit and finish is old and worn the bathtub had chips out of this porcelain the cocking was bad the maintenance was bad

Location was perfect for early morning travel at the airport. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast offered had good choices. Overall stay was great.
