Excellent downtown location, we could walk to everything. The room was large and had a full kitchen and sitting area and small balcony.
The only thing we didn’t like was the lighting in the kitchen area. It was very dim.
Close proximity to town enjoyed afternoon walks
No complaints staff was amazing it was clean quiet and we really enjoyed our stay
Location was great, room had all the services we needed but was outdated.
They had a young lady at reception that clearly didn’t want to be there, not a great face for the business and the room was very outdated with furniture falling apart
Fantastic Location.
Building is a bit tired and old. we could hear the floor above us walking around and it even woke us up. staff was about as bad as it gets. no service sense. made you feel bothersome. place has potential but we wouldn't stay again
We enjoyed our time in Jackson- yet could not check in until 4 due to staff shortage. We added a day and were supposedly put on a list of notice to early cleaning, yet due to the front desk dropping the ball, the note never made it into the system, and we again had to wait with luggage set aside to check in. All worked out in the end- yet the flow was not good. Convenient location to “square” and rest of town. Boutique hotel- basically no significant lobby, if that’s important. Continental breakfast is ok. Get there early as coffee cools after a few hours. Rooms are nice, yet some have sinks in bedroom area. Rates are fair to good for June. Others in area, are more upscale, yet double the rate.
The location is the only thing we liked.
The White Buffalo club is split between hotel rooms and units owned by different people sort of like a bed and breakfast but without the breakfast. The room we got was very overpriced had very few amenities, was not clean and had a musty odor. They provided a couple of towels and two rolls of toilet paper. Not even a single bottle of water for over $800 a night! The room was badly in need of refurbishment and showed its age. The front desk is only open between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. we arrived as I had told them at about 10:15 and there was no one there! We had to call a number to get into our room. Very poor customer service. Below is a picture of their sad little breakfast bar that everyone is raving about in other reviews. You judge for yourself.
Here is the updated review with the musty odor and ventilation issues added into the section about the room conditions.
### Draft Review (1 out of 5 Stars)
> **1/5 Stars — Absolute Rip-Off. Misleading Marketing & Zero Service**
> Do not be fooled by the "luxury hotel" advertising—the White Buffalo Club is in no way, shape, or form a luxury resort. It is marketed as a high-end boutique property, but the reality is completely different. At least half of the layout is set up like a fragmented bed and breakfast or a collection of random vacation rental suites, resulting in a disjointed and cut-up footprint that completely lacks the cohesion, privacy, and atmosphere of a true luxury hotel.
> To make matters worse, the service and amenities are non-existent, which is insulting when you are paying over $800 a night. There is absolutely no room service available. Even worse, the front desk is not on duty 24/7; they are only there between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. They didn't even have the decency to wait for our late arrival—we pulled up at 10:15 p.m., a mere 15 minutes after closing, and the place was completely abandoned with no one there to help us.
> The actual room conditions fail to meet even basic standards of cleanliness and comfort, let alone luxury. The entire place had a distinct, disgusting, and musty odor throughout, presumably due to a complete lack of proper ventilation and deep cleaning. The spaces feel dated, poorly laid out, and entirely sub-par. You are essentially paying premium, five-star resort rates to stay at an unventilated, overpriced condo building with motel-level front desk hours.
> Management is highly misleading about what this place actually is. If you are expecting a premium, seamless luxury hotel experience, you will be incredibly frustrated. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Amenities
Could not get in the restaurant to eat supper and had to leave the premises and eat elsewhere.
Despite some other recent reviews, it was definitely not the experience we had at this hotel! Everything was FANTASTIC! Room was clean, service was great, especially Mia, and the location couldn’t be beat. Close enough to everything in town, but far enough away from traffic.
Property is in a great location and it was very comfortable and clean
Beautiful studio. Separate living room. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer. After 10 days on the road it sure was needed.
Room was warm. Don't think AC was working.
Location, just a couple of blocks from main downtown action. Great parking onsite. Great shower with great water pressure.
Most uncomfortable bed ever. No dressers or closets, no where to sit. And the biggest yet weirdest well appointed kitchen I've ever seen. It took up so much space and wasn't functional at all. So we had packing cubes lined up on the kitchen counters since there were no dressers. Our jackets thrown over bar stools bc there was not a closet. Yet, there was a washer and dryer. Very strange and awkward. Anyway, the convenience of not having to drive or move the car was nice.
I love the location and the free parking and how quiet the room is.
The restaurant was closed during our stay but we understand it was still the off season’
Location, free parking, breakfast, kitchen, space in rooms.
