Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, especially Mackenzie and we loved our airport transport driver (Frank?) who gave us lots of great tips
Road noise while sleeping even on the highest floor
Large rooms and comfortable beds. The view of the bay from 5th floor was limited by taller buildings but still nice. Breakfast is done very nicely with the usual sausage and plastic eggs however it is nicely laid out and plenty of room. This hotel is on the West end so there is a 4-5 block walk to the shopping district. However it is quiet. Parking is next door at the garage. Cost is $64 a night but show the desk your credit card and they will reduce it in half. Still...$32 to park a car! We were impressed with the facility and service. Will stay here again.
Location, nice people
All good
Bien ubicado, personal muy amable. Desayuno básico pero bueno.
Todo bien.
Staff at breakfast were most welcoming
One of the elevators was broken the entire stay
Very clean room and toilet. Love their kitchenette that is also equipped with basic utensils and cookware.
I stayed in this hotel with my kids (11 and 9) for a weekend in June 2026. We found the location great and it was very convenient to walk a few blocks and hit great restaurants and shopping. The front desk was also very helpful and the people were nice. When we pulled up to the hotel to check in and drop our bags the little internal area where you pull up was full (we ended up stranded in the street) and it was difficult to know where to go to park and how to navigate the check-in/parking process. Although there is a sign saying "drop off and pick up only" the cars in that area seemed to be there for awhile while people checked in, unloaded, took bags up to their room etc. I ended up driving over to the parking garage instead and parked before checking in. To park I needed to swipe a credit card which resulted in a very high daily rate (about double the already high hotel rate), I had not realized that you get a bar code from the hotel when you check in to access the parking. Fortunately the hotel was able to move the parking from my credit card over to my room once I was able to check in. Once we had the bar code the parking was a breeze. Breakfast at the hotel was what you would expect from a Residence Inn but the breakfast area itself was very crowded in the mornings when we went down and felt like it could have used a bit more seating. Our room was fine.
Close to area we wanted to visit
Asked for clean towels one of our rooms received them the other did not.
Location, staff and cleanliness
No coffee or refreshments....water.... available 24/7 in lobby
It's a little away from downtown but I preferred that. You get to walk a little after dinner but it's still only like 3-10 mins walk to everything! Just love that it's right across from the Eastern Promenade and it's a great walk to start the day!
Friendly is an understatement to describe the staff here. Everyone is super welcoming and nice - you'd never feel rushed. You're always greeted with a smile! Special shout out to Bean (with the green hair) - LOVE LOVE LOVE the care she shown. Oh and Franz from maintenance/housekeeping? Super nice, generous and friendly (yes...I called many times to get help to fix the TV and it turned out, user error).
If I'm ever going back to Portland, this is the place you'll find me!
The location was excellent for a trip to Portland. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good for a buffet and I really appreciated the station with Iced coffee!
We enjoyed our stay here in Portland. The hotel is more on the outskirt of the old port area of Portland, but it was a perfect location to not be overwhelmed with foot traffic. We were about 1/2 mile from the Wharfs. Kenzie the front desk manger was so helpful getting our room done early, since we had been on a plane then had to drive two hours. Sarah checked us in and passed on so much information about places to go to eat and see while we were there. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast with lots of variety.
The best part of our visit was Josh, the bartender. Josh was attentive and full of information. He even taught us cribbage. After listing off a few great places to eat near the hotel, we were armed with a list of multiply places to try. Rarely, have I ever met such a genuine person who wanted to be so helpful. He truly wanted us to see places in the town of Portland that would help us really know Portland. He was our own personal "Ask Jeeves".
Definitely stop in and say HI!
