A good stay and amazing staff but some areas for improvement
Pros:

The front desk and breakfast staff was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was really good too and it was an amazing location that had tons we could walk to. Checking in was easy since they had a space up front where we could unload our stuff safely. The room and hotel was clean.

Cons:

The room on 1st floor had a weird noise that we heard pretty consistently and it had a not so great view of the parking garage. We also requested room cleaning and didn’t get it at all during our stay. The parking was very expensive and I wish it was built into the price of the hotel.

The room was big, the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

I requested a pet free room. We were given a 4th floor room with the explanation that most pets are on lower floors, but that people do sneak pets into other rooms on other floors. There had been a pet in our room because my niece had allergy issues. Why wouldn’t rooms be deep cleaned whenever a pet free room is requested? Steam clean the carpets? Or make it very clear right up front that you can’t guarantee a room is pet free at all. It was misleading at best.

Expensive stay in Portland in nice hotel for family.
Pros:

Nice rooms though other residence inns have roomier rooms

Cons:

Expensive. Parking isn’t 24 hours so you have to leave when check out time is. Also breakfast ended very early at 9am even though the hotel was packed with families on vacation.
