Wish it was a better experience.
Pros:

The front desk lady that worked in the morning on June 27th. She was very friendly, professional and helpful

Cons:

They tried to charge me an additional $302 and $100. I saw a baby roach in the bathroom and the sink was clogged because someone put food in the drain.

Disappointing stay
Pros:

I was in a one-bedroom suite, and it is sad that the reasons I disliked my stay are the same as others have written here over the past several years. The lighting in the bedroom is very poor. The only lights are small, low-watt bedside sconces aimed downward, so that the rest of the room is dark (see photo). I had to use my cell phone light to look in my suitcase. The bedside lights are not sufficient for reading. The sitting room lighting is also poor. The only well lit space was the bathroom. The front desk staff said all rooms have the same lighting, so nothing could be done. The TV in the sitting room was not usable; it only responded to the remote 10% of the time (even after the remote batteries were changed). The hot water was only warm. Overall, I was quite disappointed in my stay.

Everyone in the world is having a hard time right now and to be charged 15 a towel for makeup is awf

They charged me 15 a towel because they said I had makeup on the towels which was a lie because I didn't have makeup on to start with they did that in order to keep my deposit. And the front desk man that works in the day time was so fucking rude about.

Poor housekeeping
Pros:

The location was perfect. Didn't have to drive all over to for food place nor stores.

Cons:

Staff did not come clean room, nor bring towels when asked. I saw the housekeeper in the hall, it's 3pm the next day, and asked if anyone was going to clean the room. She responded "she coming, she coming," but "she" never came. Ended up going to the front office around 6 for trash bags and towels. Also, the refrigerator did not get cold

Over Charged Without Knowlwdge
Pros:

Had a reservation for 21-25 Jan 26 but due to a snow storm scheduled on 23 Jan, caught an earlier flight home and checked out on the 23rd of Jan. Received an incorrect receipt for one day vs two days but had to get to the airport early due to the shutdown and before flights started to be cancelled. After checking my credit card statement recently, the hotel changed me for the full four days and never contacted me, emailed or mailed me an updated receipt. When I called to report the error and request a refund of the erroneous charges from the hotel, they kept telling me the manager had to adjust the charges but never did. Manger never called me and when I followed up, they sent my calls straight to hold. Made a complaint with Wyndham who advised since they are privately owned, they can't handle the issue. I would have to resolve the issue with the hotel who is ghosting me. Please beware when staying at this hotel. It was not worth the stay.

Safe Are
Pros:

We recently stayed at La Quinta and overall had a good experience. When we first checked in, the bathroom light in our room was not working, but the manager immediately took care of the issue and quickly found another room for us to move into. The new room was nice and comfortable.

The breakfast was great, although we would have liked to see peanut butter available and a better variety of fruit instead of just apples — maybe bananas and oranges as well. There was also no water available in the breakfast area.

The area around the hotel had plenty of great food options nearby, and despite the construction in the area, it was not a problem during our stay.

Our only complaint was that the laundry area was closed due to maintenance. It was not a deal breaker, but it was definitely inconvenient for travelers needing to do laundry.

Overall, we appreciated the staff’s quick response to the room issue and enjoyed our stay.
