Great breakfasts; lots of variety

Accueil et service irréprochable. Le personnel est toujours disponible. Une très bonne note pour Yoshira. Hôtel bien situé,près de la rivière, pour des visites sur les canaux et au marché flottant. Visites avec un guide local Tailah que je recommande. Agréable séjour.
The room, the bed, all are nice
Far from airport
This is probably the best hotel in Banjarmasin, but that's not saying much since there aren't a lot of good options in the city. Overall, the hotel was okay. The interior is a bit outdated, but the bed was comfortable and the room was generally clean, the WiFI worked well, the shower pressure was good, and it was quiet. The location was very convenient, it's a 15-minute walk to Duta Mall. Also, the main attraction in Banjarmasin is the Lok Baintan Floating Market, and the hotel offers a free boat ride everyday to the market. The boat leaves around 5:30 a.m., takes about an hour to get there, and you spend about 30 minutes on the boat at the market before heading back. You arrive back at the hotel by around 8:30 a.m.
The breakfast buffet was so-so, a decent number of options but the quality was just okay. The room was generally clean but there was a woman's hair on the bedsheets and some small grease stains. They also forgot to plug in the mini refrigerator. Also, the rooms are positioned along a really long hallway, so if you have the misfortune of being at the end, it's a bit of a walk to get to the breakfast area and lobby. Most of the staff were very nice. However, I asked a worker if she would be able to arrange for someone to take me to the floating market by motorbike, and she said she would get her friend to take me, I just had to be at the lobby at 5:30 a.m. So I woke up early, only to find out there was a different worker at the front desk, who had no idea what was going on. He helped me call a Grab bike, but we accidentally put in the wrong location when using the app. So I asked him to translate in Bahasa where I actually wanted to go to the Grab driver, and he told me he did. But it turns out he didn't and we almost went to the wrong location. Not a big deal overall, but you should take what they say with a grain of salt.
