Following an unfortunate situation with an external dinner reservation arranged through the concierge, Mr. Chon and the team at The Peninsula Shanghai demonstrated a level of hospitality that reflects the very highest standards of luxury hospitality.

What stood out most was not simply the thoughtful gestures, the wine, fruits, or the gracious offer of the hotel’s Rolls-Royce transfer to the airport, but the genuine personal attention. Mr. Chon personally took the time to speak with us, apologize with sincerity, and ensure that we felt cared for throughout our stay.

This is the kind of leadership that defines truly exceptional hotels.

Una struttura eccellente!
Pros:

Elegante e sofisticato, dotato di tutti i comfort e con uno staff attento e preparato. La posizione è invidiabile e, volendo, è possibile raggiungere quasi tutti i siti turistici a piedi.

Cons:

In effetti il sistema della prima colazione non è in linea con il resto… capisco e apprezzo la possibilità di ordinare diversi piatti dal menu della colazione in modo che siano freschi, rispetto a quello che si può trovare al buffet ma non è molto intuibile comprendere che se la tariffa della stanza prevede la prima colazione, l’ordine di questi piatti espressi è incluso. Altra cosa, forse il piccolo buffet della colazione è, in effetti, un pochino troppo piccolo e soprattutto dovrebbe variare un poco di più la tipologia dei piatti. Detto ciò, per quanto ci riguarda anche questa modalità è andata benissimo ma possiamo capire che non sia in linea con il resto.

My wife and I really enjoyed our, far too short, stay at this wonderful hotel, with a fabulous location on The Bund..

Our River View room was beautiful, and beautifully appointed with everything could need and more.

We loved the excellent cocktails and service at the Roof Terrace bar while enjoying the truly amazing light show river view, before experiencing a truly exceptional meal at Sir Elly’s restaurant - and what a privilege to be able to meet the chef.

Unfortunately, we needed to depart early for our flight on the final day and discussed this on the previous evening with the excellent concierge who arranged for us to pre-order a cooked breakfast to be available in the Lobby restaurant as soon as it opened at 06.00 - perfect, and perfect service.

Скамейка в душе отличная идея.
Подушки и одеяла это настоящий комфорт. Я вывернула подушки,сфотографировала фирму. Будем заказывать домой такие. На этих подушках засыпаешь очень быстро.
Отделка понравилась,этот стиль арт- Деко только в современном прочтении. Бассейн отличный ,удобная раздевалка,фен,крем ,лак и т.д. Удобно , и продуманно.
Завтрак прекрасный! Вкусно , качественно,разнообразно и эстетитично.

Séjour inoubliable à Shanghai
Pros:

L’hôtel est luxueux et idéalement situé à Shanghai, les chambres et les restaurants sont décorés avec goût et lumière.
L’ensemble du personnel est attentionné et parle très bien anglais. Le petit déjeuner est d’une qualité et d’une variété exceptionnelle.
