hotel itself was clean, and the room was comfortable once we were finally able to get settled in. The location was very convenient for our plans, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The staff members I interacted with were polite and did apologize for the issues we experienced. I also appreciated that they continued trying to find a solution, even though the overall process was frustrating.
Honestly, I was not impressed with my stay.
I booked two rooms, both with two queen beds. When we arrived to check in at 2:50 PM, I was told that one room was available and the second would be ready shortly after 3:00 PM. When I got to my room, I discovered it had one king bed and a pull-out sofa instead of the two queen beds I had reserved. Since it was only my husband and me staying in that room, I chose not to make an issue of it, although this change was never mentioned at check-in.
At 3:10 PM, I called to check on the status of the second room and was told it was still unavailable. Shortly afterward, I received a call asking if I would be willing to stay at the Holiday Inn next door because the hotel had been overbooked. I explained that I would only consider that option if both of my rooms could be moved, since we were already checked into one room. I was then told that because we had already checked into one room, we would need to remain at Homewood Suites.
Later, I received another call asking if we would accept a king bed with a pull-out sofa for the second room. I explained that the room was for a father and daughter, which is why I specifically booked two queen beds. The staff member said they understood.
By this point, it was already after 5:00 PM. I called the front desk again to ask whether the room was finally ready, and I was told that it was. However, when I went downstairs to get the key, I was informed that my virtual payment card was not working and that I needed to contact Booking.com.
After spending approximately 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue, Booking.com contacted the front desk and informed me that everything had been worked out. When I returned to get the room keys, I was told that the problem had actually been caused by a mistake made by one of the hotel's employees when assigning my first room. The staff apologized, but I was then required to provide another card for a $50 incidental deposit.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. We stayed in a suite, and everything was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very cozy. The hotel was quiet, and we never heard noise from other guests, which made it incredibly relaxing.
The breakfast was great, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
The location was beautiful.
It wasn’t clean. The shower wasn’t clean, the bed had hair all in it. And there was a quarter roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. When I requested more TP and sheets, they told me that they would leave it at the front desk. Mind you, I was traveling with young kids, so I had to round them all up to take a trip to the front desk. Staff weren’t friendly, but the people who stayed at the hotel were very nice.
This hotel was super clean and nice
Location is great about 25 minutes to the city center a good traffic day very affordable. The rooms were just recently remodeled. Hotel is very clean. rooms are very clean. The front desk staff is very professional polite. The food area is very well maintained and kept up to stock by alady named Pam. We were here a year ago, and she was here as well. She was extremely polite and friendly for our family evening helping find some chamomile tea!

We have stayed at this location many times over the years when visiting family in the Pittsburgh area and the quality has been getting progressively worse. This most recent stay was the most disappointing. The bathroom still had a towel from the prior occupant hanging on a hook. The dishwasher still had dishes and silverware, washed, but not emptied. The flat sheet on one of the queen beds had black stains on it. The sofa bed mattress had a blood stain. There was no bedding in the room for the sofa bed. When I called the front desk to ask for some they told us to come downstairs and get it ourselves. It was just sitting there on the front desk counter. The bathroom sink was partially clogged and slow-draining. This will be our last time staying at this location.

Expensive for what we got. Had a pull out no sheets or add ons for the pull out in room. Asked front desk only had one little sheet and no pillow. For over 200 usd this should all be in there. As well sink was clogged.
