Review Highlights

Pros:
Excellent location and views (Castillo Serrallés, central placement)
Friendly, attentive staff and good service
Comfortable, modern rooms with helpful in-room amenities (microwave, refrigerator)
Strong breakfast and attractive hotel bar/lounge
Casino on site and good parking infrastructure (though paid)
Cons:
Parking is paid and validation/charges caused confusion
Bathroom/shower maintenance issues (water leaking from shower, grout/tiles needing attention)
Pool placement near an open parking access and an industrial AC unit is unappealing to some
Occasional noisy surroundings (near plaza/construction) and at least one report of very delayed breakfast service

Categories

Cleanliness
8.6
Generally described as clean and modern in multiple reviews, though several guests reported issues with bathroom upkeep (shower grout, water leaking from shower, tiles needing re-grout) and one instance requiring staff to clean sand. Overall good but with some maintenance/cleaning lapses.
Service
9.2
Staff repeatedly praised as very friendly, attentive and helpful (assisting with cleaning after sand, accommodating requests, excellent bar service). Service sentiment is consistently strong across reviews.
Location
9.4
Location is overwhelmingly highlighted as a major strength (proximity, views to Castillo Serrallés, central placement). Many guests emphasize location as a primary reason to stay.
Room Quality
8.7
Rooms described as modern, comfortable and renovated with good views and amenities (microwave, refrigerator). Some negatives around bathroom layout and shower comfort/containment reduce the score slightly.
Amenities
8.6
Hotel amenities (pool, casino, bar/lounge, elevators, parking garage, in-room microwaves) are well regarded, and the bar/casino are praised; pool placement near an open parking access and industrial AC noise lowers the perception for a subset of guests.
Value for Money
8.4
Most guests found the experience worthwhile (location, service, breakfast) but unexpected parking charges, occasional service/process issues (breakfast delays) and minor maintenance concerns slightly reduced perceived value.
Food and Beverage
9.1
Breakfast and the hotel bar/restaurant receive strong positive mentions (Melao Coffee Shop, bartender praise, excellent breakfast) though one report described a severely delayed breakfast service; overall F&B sentiment is very positive.
Overall Experience
9.2
Many guests describe an excellent or 'must-stay' experience, praising staff, location, rooms and F&B; isolated issues (parking, occasional breakfast logistics, some bathroom/maintenance items) did not overshadow the generally excellent overall impressions.

Un hotelazo en una ciudad fantasma.
Pros:

El desayuno gratuito, la habitación ( cama y ducha).

Cons:

No se podía descansar bien debido a que se oye el ruido de los coches que pasan con la música alta y los ladridos de los perros que permiten alojarse en el hotel y molestan.
