Comfortable stay

Perfect place to stay
Pros:

Location is best at city centre. Breakfast spread was good and enjoyed the fresh fruits. Staffs were excellent and friendly. Surely will come back.

The room was set to too cool (16 C) when I arrived (twice). Should not be set to lower than 18, otherwise the hotel can't claim to care for the environment.

Central location, cleaned rooms, helpful staff and very good assorted breakfast.
Pros:

Central location, on the business district. The room was big enough with a confortable bed and it was well cleaned by the room service: thank you Ms. Ivona for making my room so well every single day and for having never forgotten to provide me bottled drinking water.

Very good breakfast offered in Al Gaucho Restaurant on the ground floor: apart from being really assorted (Egg Station, Chinese Corner, Asian Corner...) and to offer some different dishes every morning; I would specially highlight that the kitchen staff is always aware to refill the trays of food, so all the guests are able to fully enjoy the breakfast variety at any time while the breakfast service is open. Special thanks to Ms. Darlin and Ms. Prisca for being so kind and helpful every morning.

Al Dar Rooftop Restaurant offers tasty dishes for having dinner inside or on the rooftop at Helipad Beer Garden, while you enjoy the city views or the sunset. Thanks to Mr. George for his hospitality managing the rooftop bar.

Cons:

I stayed in the same hotel 11 years ago and the passage of time does not forgive if you do not carry out periodic refurbishment for not looking outdated: the hallway carpets look old and worn, some room furniture quite used (specially, the wardrobe)...

The bathroom was not very big and its design was not very practical, specially for being placed the toilet behind the door; apart from that, you should pay attention that the sink of the shower is correctly opened for not leaking the shower floor and to avoid the water to spill over the rest of the bathroom.

The furniture on the rooftop bar could be renewed and the artificial turf might be fumigated, since on the tables that are placed over it you always find very tiny bugs.

When I made my booking, I requested to receive information about the shuttle service from the Airport but I did not receive any answer. I hope that next time it will be different...

Nothing to write home about!
Pros:

The bathroom was soo small. The shower was not working. The taps ere hung complete salt water satins with big old molds.

Cons:

The shower and the dampness of the room . It shows it’s older they don’t clean and air the carpet.

Отель расположен очень удобно: в центре и недалеко от гавани, откуда отплывают паромы на Занзибар. Понравился персонал, девушка на ресепшн по имени Анна, другие сотрудники в лобби. Я останавливался в отеле всего на одни сутки, а затем, оставив чемодан в камере хранения отбыл на Занзибар. По возвращении я провёл несколько часов в лобби отеля и приветливые сотрудники даже угостили меня соком манго. Завтрак был отличный: очень много тропических фруктов.

I recomend the hotel. Very beautiful place
Pros:

Big room with everything. The Breakfast was really good.

Cons:

Sauna is not included in the price you have to pay if you want to use Sauna. It was supposed to be included since the hotel is 4 star.
