Disappointing.
Pros:

Location, which was main reason for booking.

Cons:

The room was very dated. Carpets stained. Limescale all on shower screen and taps. Expected more for the price.

I couldn't have asked for better!
Pros:

The service was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and all cooked freshly to order. The rooms were well equipped, especially the air conditioning which was well needed! - and the bed was very comfy. The hotel is very clean and well decorated. I shall definitely be staying again.

Cons:

A bonus would have been a fridge in the room.

Great staff, great location, average food
Pros:

Great staff they were all really helpful

Cons:

The food was not the best, the steak was over cooked and the chips under cooked but the English breakfast was 1st class.
The room we had was in need of a refurbishment

And they was a service charge on drinks that they put on even when we went to the bar and ordered them ourselves and carried them back to the table

Wonderful stay, friendly staff. Would love to go back.
Pros:

A very beautiful hotel with an outstanding suite! The staff are so friendly, we spoke to some of them after dinner, they couldn’t have done more for us, we can’t wait to come back.

Cons:

I would have loved a swim in a big pool, but loved the outdoor aqua pool which is essentially a very large hot tub.

Lovely estate hotel with great staff
Pros:

The staff were all really friendly and professional, especially Peter who was always smiling and always ready to help. True Ambassador of the hotel. Thanks Peter

Cons:

I would have given it 10/10 had it not been for the very poor mattress in the extra bed. I had read the reviews but didn’t expect it would be quite as bad as the other guests had commented. But sadly it really was very bad and VERY uncomfortable. The management should take note and change those extra bed mattresses
But couldn’t fault the staff - they were all great
