The place has potential but needs a lot of work.
Pros:

The location is good and the surrounding area is lovely.

Cons:

Unfortunately the building is tired and needs investment. The staff were pleasant enough but lacked training and there was no management presence visible. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, the omelette I ordered was in edible and the coffee was like dish water.

Pleasant hotel in a quiet location but food service is patchy
Pros:

Room was spacious. Check-in and out was ok. Food was nice. Spa was good standard

Cons:

Grounds were untidy. Breakfast service was attrocious. No USB charging ports in room. Spa is tucked away in a lower ground floor and is difficult to navigate

Run down with small beds and rooms. Disappointing for the price

The outdoor spa pool was lovely. Beautiful building but a bit tired.
Staff friendly and helpful with booking a taxi.

Cons:

Booked a deluxe double as a treat with my husband and expected it to be lovely considering the price. The room was very small and didn't look anything like the photos on the internet. The bed was small - double size which is rare nowadays and it said on the booking it was a large double bed which wasn't true. The room was pretty run down, very small bathroom too. Curtains were torn with damp stains on them which wasn't very nice. Room furniture was showing its wear. Breakfast was very mediocre - no frills and pretty basic. Coffee was awful too. Would not recommend.

A little disappointed with the room which was described as superior with a garden view. It didn't have a garden view and was up a steep flight of stairs.

Hotel was excellent but very let down on the communication of the restaurant being closed and breakfast was worse than p

Cons:

The Restaurant was closed and only informed of this on arrival. I went for the Breakfast included option and breakfast consisted of cereal, fruit and toast, very poor
