A highly recommended hotel
Pros:

We are a couple of retired persons living in Sydney, Australia. We were planning to revisit Florence sometimes this year. While I was doing my search for accommodation, I found Rex hotel is one of the ideal places to stay for a couple nights for somebody travels by the trains: It is very close to the trains station and historical center with numerous facilities around it. Also, very importantly, it offers the best rate in the area. By mistake, at my age, I accidently booked a non-refundable room for wrong dates, and I did not have recollection of my booking until a couple hours late when I saw the bank transaction. I wrote an email to explain my situation to the hotel management; fully aware that they don't have to refund me for this non-refundable booking. Fortunately, the hotel has refunded my payment. It shows how kind the people are in this hotel, from the management to the receptionist who first received my email. I highly recommend this hotel to every traveler. For me, when I travel, the most important thing, is to know the locals are kind from their heart.

Buena ubicación, buena atención

Excelente ubicación , cerca del duomo y terminal de tren de Santa María novella. Muy ruidosa de noche, pero tiene ventanas muy buenas que tapan muy bien el ruido. La atención excelente

Cons:

La sala de desayuno muy pequeña; los huéspedes haciendo cola para desayunar o compartiendo mesas con otros huéspedes.
El baño lindo, pero la ducha muy incómoda, con cortinas muy malas y cortas lo que generaba que se mojara todo

La relación costo-beneficio fue excelente, y la ubicación nos permitió estar cerca de todo.
Pros:

La ubicación es perfecta por que te quedan las mejores zonas cerca, todo es bonito. Florencia tiene comida muy rica, DEBEN mejorar el desayuno. La habitación que nos todo tenia baño de minusválidos, no tenia desnivel en la ducha.

Cons:

La ducha sin desnivel y el WC o inodoro muy alto.

Gran relación calidad precio
Pros:

Una excelente opción que destaca por la ubicación y por la calidad de atención del personal.
El desayuno es bueno y variado, pero es similar a lo que encontrarás en otros hoteles.
Hay varias lavanderías cercanas, pero aconsejo llevar monedas porque piden efectivo.

Cons:

Edificio antiguo, pero funcional dentro de todo. El ascensor pequeño, pero servía para que suban dos personas con sus equipajes pertinentes (quizás no con una grande de bodega al mismo tiempo).

Mi mayor crítica es al baño, dado que filtraba un poco por debajo. Es solucionable poniendo una toalla al borde, pero deberían quizás tener otro tipo de drenaje aparte del que tienen.

Hotel bom mas com quarto muito fechado e sem ventilação.
Cons:

Meu quarto era grande, reformado e com um bom banheiro, mas a janela era voltada para uma parede, sem vista alguma o que tornava o quarto bastante claustrofóbico. Tenho certeza que há outros quartos no hotel com vistas melhores para a rua.
